Just a little tip, when you frostbolt someone for like, a lot, you frostbolt then instantly ice lance, dont really ice lance unless you have that huge buff that it can hit for 18k+, so if you dont have it, just frostbolt, frostbolt, and frostbolt and freeze until your ice lance buff is back.

what breaks the balance of the game even more is of all the classes we are the only one that has our damage set up so, a dispeller can completely fuck us. i would gladly give the burst dmg we can give, for the winters chill dispel protection ability. especially now with druids and shamans being able to dispel us the roots and df etc, our dmg takes an amazing beating. so what if we kill nubs in bg, in arena unless we run with warlock for ua, we are subject to a lot of dispeling.

This episode is really old, so I'm sorry I just found this channel (Subscribed, I love it BTW) Anyways, just to let Hengest know, most of the buffs mages got was due to Blizz trying to make Frost raid viable. It had nothing to do with PVP, they don't really care if PVP is "slightly" broken. Frost Mages, Arms Warrior, Feral/Resto Druids, Resto Shamans, are all they care about for PVP

Things that need to be fixed for Frost Mages:

1)CC, sure it's a "control" class, but there's a limit at everything, Spellsteal and Icelance should have a CD.There's a reason why 90% of Frost Mages out there don't need any PvP gear to rape someone.

2)Ice Barrier should have a CD too, it got buffed so much and it can be spammed with little to no Mana inefficiency., making it worse than Pallie's/Disc Priest's Bubbles.

3)Make Spellsteal and Counterspell share a CD.

Frost Mages are not OP, just poorly designed.

+ All their buffs were solely based on 3v3 Arenas, and Blizzard said anything outside 3v3s will never be balanced anyways.

Frost Mages are easy to defeat when your Healer knows when's the time is right to dispel him.

So when doing 2v2/5v5 Arenas or , always make sure the Frost Mage gets dispelled actively, after that putting the dick in his ass isn't much of a big deal.

But i do agree they should get their CCs nerfed a bit.

Frost mage is OP below 1600 and balanced above 1800. their offense is severely damaged if your opponent has a healer. Healer dispels all freezes = dead frost mage

frost mages arent op. From a pvp healer pov ive seen what does hit hard in pvp and given the appropriate resilience frost mages are laughable. 10k ice lance is about the max ive seen go through my mere 3.4k resil (which aint THAT much).

Any warrior, dk, arcane mage or enh shammy will hit much harder.

Take ANY class, give it an enemy team too dumb to focus it, a pocket healer and other ppl beating on its target and YES, it'll look op.

Can i just take this time to remind all of you that mages aren't even suppose to be in the same category as a warrior or a rogue etc. As far as lore is concerned, Mages are beings with power superior to anything. So naturally it's easier to do 'hax' damage. The moral of the story is if your struggling to beat a frost mage, go outside any major city and repeatedly duel one! All classes are op, this is the third expansion already - jeez!
