Wish my Basset was like that, i probably have the most selfish greedy basset going. Only 18months though, however i adore her, other then my girlfriend and family its the most important thing in my life, can always put a huge smile on my face!
Yes, I know it isn't safe for their backs. It isn't something we allowed after that video (although it is something our daughter really wanted to do). She got a rocking horse and gave our basset a break. :)
Bassets are just the best dogs in the world and are SO GENTLE with babies. My three Bassets adored my two children as babies and are just so trustworthy (unlike some breeds)!
we have a basset hound /king charles spaniel mix and she tolerates just about anything
