  • i wish that someone would've just slapped david crockett right out of the broadcast booth... the guy was total shit and almost as shitty as david mercer (world class)

  • Just a flat out, all-time legend.

  • those sunglasses rock where can i get one of those

  • @brandons3 BOUT MINE OFF EBAY

  • @fetishb what's the name of the sunglasses ? or what did you type on the ebay search bar?

  • @brandons3 Porsche vintage aviator.

  • @brandons3 Those were THE Sunglasses of the 80's. Real Glass and Interchangeable Lenses.

  • what was this in response to? I don't remember that far back

  • To BE the Man you gotta BEAT THE MAN.

  • That sportcoat costs $800? You got ripped off, my brother.

  • @jawline316 Sure looked good in 84 :P

  • TELL 'EM NATURE BOY!!!! WOO!

  • I love the inspirational message but Flair should learn from the Jake Roberts as he said "U see guys come out and they have to scream and holler. I don't have to scream because a long time ago, I learn that if he has enough power, he can speak softly and everyone will listen"

  • Don't know how much that cost, I would be embarrassed to wear it............Poor Tony. He-he.

  • Even though he and Crockett were best friends, Flair sometimes had to put him in his place. Wooo.

  • Swag

  • who the hell this liked this. Wooooooooooooooooo

  • Listen to Killer Mikes song Ric Flair on youtube

  • I said it before and I will say it again, that was Ric Flair at his best on the mic! Started out as a promo and finished as a shoot. Ric Flair did not need a writer to give him his lines, he already had it in his head. Today's wrestler's could not do that to save their lives.

  • This is my motivational alarm clock in the morning.

  • moo

  • This ringside took place right after Dave Crockett attempted to demand an explanation from Flair about what he and the Anderson did to Dusty Rhodes after Rhodes came to the rescue of Flair after he was being pummeled by Ivan and Nikita Koloff after a grueling match between Flair and NIkita in a steel cage. I have this interview on VHS tape somewhere. Glorious memories of the historic NWA during the early or mid-80's!

  • "to be the man, you have to beat the man!" no truer words were ever spoken!

  • heeeee heeeeeee heeeeee whoooooo

  • Schiavone + porn stasche = old skool

  • Classic Ric Flair!!!

  • LOL @Ric Flare a fool that is why my coat cost 800$ and yours cost 200$ and your cost I would be ashame to wear it LMAO

  • Mrjimmy, u and ur mom just shut up! U have to wait ur turn like the rest if em. Oldest ride longest line! Woooooooooo Woooooooooo woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • That last line was a 100% shoot

  • What made Flair so hot?! He was REAL, if the man said he had 25 bitches ready to roll in his limo, he did! If he said he was the man, he was!

Swag! Flair in his prime was beast!

  • @KitanaiharE If he had only 25 women for him, it was a bad night brother. Woooooooooooo!

  • @KitanaiharE Bullshit! Wrestling is scripted, the male's version of the soap opera, if you will. Flair's an actor, just putting on a show. You think this is him in REAL LIFE? You're delusional; I think we all are delusional. Gime to get back to reality.

  • @Nostaglia2012 Some pro wrestlers are close to the actual character like the Sandman, Steve Austin, and The Rock.

  • you take life up the nose do ya ric?????

  • Greatest mic man in the history of wrestling

  • @mrbluto3 Naaa.... Billy Superstar Graham was greater, and Ultimate Warriro too (in his own way lol) :-)

  • Pro wrestling isnt a sport flair, its an art

  • maybe those fancy jackets and shoes are why he's broke and bankrupt today... WOOOOOOO!!!

  • David Crockett was ANGRY @ the 1st 10 sec of the vid

  • This is wrestling. God bless you Ric. You are the Man!!!

  • so funnnnnny!

  • Hands down Ric Flair was the greatest wrestler to ever cut a promo! No one and I mean None could do it like Him! Past Present or Future,he is the greatest!

  • cocaine is a hell of a drug

  • We need Ric DNA to see if we can make real wrestlers these days . Man he is the best and we need more guys like him

  • Holy shit, that's a great jacket! But what else could you expect from the Nature Boy?

  • Classic....

  • HEY RICK !! SHUT THE FUCK UP !!

  • @MrJimmy1208 Its Ric, and he is the Nature Boy.

  • @MrJimmy1208

Don't tell Rick to Shut the fuck up. You go fuck off. NATURE BOY RULES!!!!

  • Carrying the business for years

    excellent

  • Rick Flair: Because im the world champion sucka!

Booket T: Tell me he didn't just say that?

  • One of the best things of 80s wrestling was how the heels always made out like they made 100Xs as much money as they really did. Not that Flair was worried where his next meal was coming from, but he was not as well off as he made out, heck the owners of the promition were not that well off.

  • @Srd1126

Eh, yes and no. Flair actually did make some great money for the time, but he spent just about every penny on living the rich party life. Just as he said...clothes, limousines, women, booze, etc. That's one of the things that made the characters that people like Savage, Ted Dibiase, Flair, Jake the Snake, and so forth so damn interesting back then--they were simply exaggerated versions of themselves. This is why modern wrestling characters are generally bland in comparison.

  • that's how you start and get crankin. you get low to set the stage, then you rip that damn mic up!

  • LOOKING AS ONLY AS HE CAN LOOK

  • now THAT is the way to cut a promo, Ladies and gentlemen!!

  • that suit jacket is amazing!!!!

    stylin' and profilin' !!!!!!!!

  • Hes hot about that limo.

Ric has real problems, girls, expensive cloths, world titles.

    Fuck a recession.

  • I wish I had 25 women in my car just waiting to say, "WOOO!" :(

  • come on cm punk? cena? orton? none of the cats today come close to this man. this was classic.

  • 'next time u talk to ur accountant look and see who built the building yall office in woooo'.ric was one of a kind.plus he's probaly the only guy who can rock that sport coat and make it look cool lol

  • Flair is the man. I never get tired of this video. It motivates!

  • Randy Orton my ass! Flair rules! No one will ever come close to The Nature Boy

  • Randy Orton is better at promos

  • @BlackDynamiteNYC Randy Orton couldnt entertain a barnyard animal. The man has ZERO charisma,

limited wrestling talent and cries to Vince when he dosent get his own way.

  • @pjomayo I see you got the sarcasm......

  • lmao true

  • man he did the most coke possible. whoo!!

  • that is the ugliest coat ...i thought i needed to adjust my uhf knob lol

  • I CANT STOP LAUGHING I LOOOOOOOOOOVE RIC FLAIR

  • He said ive been stabbed!!! lol

  • God, it was so good growing up during the NWA/WTBS years of the 1980s.

  • classic Flair!

  • lol if that sport coat cost $800 you got ripped off ric

  • It's funny because if you pay attention, Flair actually puts Crockett's promotion over as "the most powerful in the world" all while laying into his punk ass like a real old school wrestling O.G....WHOOOO!!!

  • I love how he's telling them they should all calm down and not yell then proceeds to yell at the top of his lungs for a min and a half. LOL

  • Why does he talk like he has shit in his mouth?

  • That sport coat cost $800

  • "If you like talking to me on this show you'll let me talk when I come out here." Let 'em know Ric

  • swag...

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • If you're a man you don't cry about it!... If you're a real man you get rid of that funky motorcycle and get a mercedes benz!

  • I'm trying to learn this it's inspiring to me.

  • I believe the incident they are referring to in the interview was when Ric was wrestling Nikita Koloff and the Russians came in and started working him over, Dusty Rhodes made the save and then Flair and the Horsemen turned on Dusty and broke his leg.

  • IF YOU'RE A MAN, YOU DON'T CRY ABOUT IT.

  • that is SO SUPER CLASSIC. listen to what Flair says at the end.

  • Now thats what a wrestling promo is supposed to sound like.

  • Thats why this sport coat cost $800, and that cost $200, i dont know what that cost id be ashamed to wear it!!! Ric was a great shit talker!!!

  • @19Eleven71 LOVE that comment by Flair!!

  • "Look who built the building you guy's office is in!" LOL!

  • someone tell me what year this was

  • flair actually did have a limo with 25 women waiting outside, problem was he married half and had kids with all, if you do the math that adds up to massive alimony payments and thats why he still has to wrestle now

  • I'm the world champion sucker!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHHHOOOOOO

  • Was there ever a more blatantly biased commentator than David Crockett? lol

  • hahahaha look at Schiavone

  • now that is SAWGGER

  • I thought Booker T was the first one to coin the phrase "......world champion, sucker."

  • Don't talk over Flair you piece of shit.

  • Only someone like Ric Flair could survive a plane crash, then continue in the rough world of Pro Wrestling for another 35 years.

  • Ric flair is style, cool, and swag.

  • Flair said sucka!!!

    Woooooooooooooooo!

  • That jacket is so pimp. And probably cost more than my house.

  • If your a real man you never go down you stay up!

  • Thank you Ric for telling Crockett to SHUT IT!

    WORST COMMENTATOR EVER

  • How can anyone NOT like this video, one of the greatest promo's of ALL time...

  • I like when Ric say's "let's tone this down a bit" then starts shouting. This was one of his best moments behind the mike which is saying a lot because there were many. Wooooo!!!

  • Lizard shoes???

  • @RustySacks lizard skin shoes wre really popular in the 80's

  • @22centman36 wow really. theyre completely new to me! (woo!)

  • The one person who disliked this was probably Crockett's or Tony's tailor.

  • damn thats some beautiful hair

  • Crockett, shut the fuck up!

  • You wouldn't know it to look at and listen to him back then, but he actually had confidence issues back then.

  • @bigguyjames34 Where you get that information from? Not being an ass just asking....

  • @ratchettcitynigga Ric Flair ultimate dvd i think.

  • Woooo!

  • I found that oddly... inspiring!

  • Its sad to look back on who I think was the greatest promo man and wrestler of the modern era and to know how he is now. Ric Flair was the reason i watched wrestling for years the JR Ewing of the NWA the man you love to hate. Now he is just a shell of himself in TNA just there cause he needs the money. I try to think back to these days in the old crockett and NWA days.........the glory days.

  • tHe MaN!..wOOO! xoO

  • Ric Flair, the G.O.A.T. when it comes to cutting a promo. Wrestlers today should take good notes.

  • David Crockett once again allows his jealousy and petty disfavor toward the world champion to rear its ugly head. He should just provide unbiased commentary and treat the champ with the respect he deserves. Crockett should have taken a cue from his fellow broadcaster Tony C and been more professional and humble in the presence of greatness, and perhaps Flair would have given him a '74 Dodge Seatcover sports coat of his own as a gift.

  • @YacktmanFocused As much as I detested listening to David Crockett do commentary, in this role, he was very effective. His interjecting during Flair's interview made it seem more realistic and gave Flair something else to bounce off of.

  • Comment removed

  • @mastermold2011 I was very sarcastically being a Flair "mark". I actually DID like David Crockett, Tony, Flair, etc. - ALL of it, ALL the time... THIS was wrestling!

  • No one will EVER have the mic skills Ric has. The Rock isn't bad but nowhere close to Ric...

  • I find it hard to believe that fire hazard of a sport coat cost anywhere near $800 20+ years ago. I remember my grandpa actually had a seat cover on his old 1974 Dodge Pickup with an eerily similar pattern and color scheme. The material also looked the same as well.

  • The alpha male in his habitat

  • THE best ric flair promo ever

  • tony looks so fucking funny with that stache!!

  • Wow, He said talk to your accounting and ask who built the building you in. WOW... David face was like DUH

  • words of wisdom from a real man

  • Does anyone have the first part of this interview posted?

  • The best there is!! The best there was and the best there ever will be. WOOOOOO

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Flair set the standard for talking on the mic.

  • Comment removed

  • wasnt it wwf back then?

  • SUCKER!!! LOL

  • That's Why This Sports Jacket Cost $800 & That Cost $200 & That I Don't Know, I'd Be Just A Shame To Wear It !!! Funny !!!! Classic Flair !!!! The Best That Ever Did It Baby !!!! Whoa !!!!!!

  • Those shoes he had on were sick

  • Rick Flair is the shit. 'nuff said.

  • As far as I'm concerned The Rock and Stone Cold were were the "last" of the great bad asses who could handle an interview and microphone as well back it up in the ring.

But without a doubt, if there was ever anyone who wrote the book or set the standard and personified World Champion...it was Ric Flair. These little punk bitches today look and sound like they are in the high drama club, reading a bad script. Ric Flair spoke from the heart. He was and will always be THE man. WHOOOO!

  • Slick Ric goes HARD IN THE MUTHA FUCKING PAINT!!!!!!!

  • Slick Ric goes HARD IN THE MUTHA FUCKING PAINT!!!!!!

  • Just love how Slick Ric always gets in the last word followed by the patented WOOOOOO!

  • Naitch is a man's man

  • we probably can't afford his sunglasses, either.

  • "And I got A Limosime sitting out there a mile long with 25 woman just dying for me to go...WOOO!" We need more bragging wrestlers like flair.

  • What Flair said to Crockett at 1:50 is soo true. TNA has mis-used Flair badly.

  • the Nature Boy rules!!!!!!!

  • Ric Flair RULES

  • I say again, this may be the best interview of em all

  • "If you're a man - you don't cry about it! You take life, it's ups and downs...if you're a REAL man, you never go down, you just stay up!"

  • At 1:24 they look like to kids that just got yelled at by there father! Thats right ric............man up on them!

  • This may be the best flair interview of all time

  • Flair was frickin pissed at David Crockett

  • :45 seconds... Thats rite Ric.. MAN UP

  • ric flair really invented hiphop, only diff between this and a rapper, is that his shit dont rhyme, he never cut a weak promo

  • @liflyguy man I was thinking the same thing.

  • @ 1:00 ... "and I don't know what THAT cost, I'd be ASHAMED to wear it"

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!

  • @6forrestgump9 ...THE GREATEST OF ALLTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @6forrestgump9 That sport coat cost more than your HOUSE !! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    Ric Flair

  • This promo tells you all you need to know about who's the best ever. Flair stands alone !

  • Look at Crockett's face at the end when Flair sets him straight.

  • this is my favorite ric flair promo.

  • Scary Jacket but great on the mic.

  • Its an $800 jacket!! Stylin and Profilin!! WOOOOO

  • Ric Flair was the Man!! there will never be a promo wrestler with his style. A limousine a mile long. Whooooooooooo!

  • is this fucking hd? great quality

  • @jowood6 We can be thankful to the WWE for getting a hold of the masters and keeping this footage crisp

  • @jowood6 nah that's just ric flair... woooo!!!

  • Ric told David Crockett how it is at the end.
