  • how many players do you need to play the game

  • its a little to easy to kill the monsters though...

  • A favorite at Boy Scout camp :D

  • I can understand why you need 4 players minimum: if you want to scam the other 3. If you play as 2, its too friendly until you get strong enough.

  • Is this playable with 2 players? I mean, I know it says you can on the website, but I'm wondering if it's like the card game and virtually pointless with 2 players?

  • @bersaba Actually, this game is pretty dang good with only 2 people

  • @NinjaRacoonDelta

Ahh ok thx good to know.

  • so how do curses/helping monsters/potions/etc delt by other players work?.. do they need to be in the same room, a room around the room, or can they be anywhere on the board?

  • I was playing the original munchkins today with my friends. Great and funny game, with good interaction among players, I suggest it.

  • I played this with my friends, it took like 2-3 hours with only 3 players. But we had fun :)

  • wrong monster movement explanation... but it was a good review.

  • Also, another error that they made, you don't automatically end your turn after moving into another room ONCE. That's why you have 3 MOVEMENT "tokens". They can be used for 3 things;

    1: Moving/Exploring into another room

2: Complete a Deal in the room you are, if you can.

3: Search the room for loot (or monsters)

  • @AMOE1987 Maybe he decided to end his turn early

  • interesting~

  • Another correction. Monsters don't initiate combat in the way that you've shown. In fact, combat only happens DURING A PLAYER'S TURN.

During Monster movement, the Monsters will pretty much ignore the players, and keep moving if more arrows matching the rolled colors are around them. However, if a Red Monster is moving and goes into the same room as the Red player, he STOPS MOVING, looking at the Red player, and the red player will have to fight him AT THE BEGINNING OF HIS TURN.

  • dirtnapper: correct. After every player's turn is the Monster Turn. Say the Blue player just ended his turn. Next is the Monster turn, and the Blue player rolls the Monster Die. If any Monster has an arrow in their room of that color, they move in that direction until they can't move any more.

Also, it's pronounced Day-uss or Dee-uss Ex, not "Deuce."

  • First of all, you guys aren't funny, second im pretty sure watching you review this game ruined it. please, don't do any more "how to play" videos. especially when you don't entirely know what it is that your doing.

  • Im pretty sure the monster base color has nothing to do with its movement, on the mosters turn you roll the monster die and move it in the direction color indicated on the die.

  • this is true

  • lol 1337th viewer!

  • i just ordered it on amazon just now...i hope my friends will enjoy it

  • i played munckin with some freinds then they didnt talk 2 me for a week

  • get better friends?
