  • good song @ /watch?v=_FPSKKHO1UY

  • pitchfork and all of its avid followers spend the majority of their time taking giant cocks down their throats.

pavement and malkmus however, are god.

  • GAWD I Love EVERTHING, this feller does. Sheez :)

  • pavement is playing at pitchfork this year! can't wait

  • I will be there. Got my tickets yesterday. I am very much looking forward to it. See you there?

  • yep, i'll be there man. modest mouse will be good too.

  • "ya'll suck huge ass for listening to this queers"

Kann es sein, dass ihr Amerikaner ein riesiges Problem mit Homosexualität habt?!

  • shalalalalala!

  • he makes my clit itch.

  • @jennafacee ROFLMAO!!! Too bad he's married with kids.

  • I like every song hi has done. He, jimi hendrix, jack white and bob dylan are the best...john lennon comes a little later

  • Oh yeah? Tell that to my Grandpa. He has similar tastes, asshole.

  • only 3 guys away!!!!!

  • u know Konner!! Stephen Malkmus is the man ...

  • I creamed my pants when he started to sing this. Never have I shed more tears of joy at any concert ever.

  • You and me both my friend. For sure.

  • I've heard that Pavement will reform for one last grand show in the next few years, commemorating the release of their first record, Slanted & Enchanted.

    OH SHIT I JUST REALIZED

IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN IN 2012

Wouldn't that just be too epic for words? December 20, 11:56 PM, the world falling into utter chaos as Pavement has just enough time to play "Loretta's Scars" to a sold-out mob atop the Mayan step-pyramid of Kukulkan at Chichen Itza in Mexico.

  • Naturally the night will conclude with Scott, Mark, Bob, Steve, and even Gary sacrificing Stephen to the old gods.

I'm gonna be front row/top step, baby.

MAY THE BLOOD OF THE MALKMAN CLEANSE THIS PLANET

  • @thepratingknave the song you pick for that scenario is fucking loretta's scars?

  • i was there i was there.

  • Classic, Stephen Malkmus is the man.

  • You're right, he IS the man, for sure. Pavement should tour this year...a 10th anniversary kind of thing.

  • they are touring 2010

  • arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt

  • @AFXAcid37 and they are :D!!! you're awesome for calling it :D

  • @AFXAcid37 You're the man because your name is fucking AFXAcid. Aphex Twin and Pavement ftw!

  • This is one of my favourite songs and I still love this version it's just it sounds a bit weird him singin both parts

  • is that bob nastanovich playing drums?

  • i don't know I wish he would have wrote something in the video description. The one to the right of the video that is on every youtube video that describes what's going on in the video. Yeah if only he wrote whether or not that was Bob of Pavement fame on drums.

  • HA! Thank you!

  • Oh Penisdickbutt you name may be crude, but your grasp of irony is sharp.

  • There would deserve to sell out wembley considering a lot of the shit people are listening to nowdays...

    they wouldnt though...

  • I was fucking THERE. 21 years old... never thought I would see Malkmus performing a Pavement song in my entire life, much less an entire fucking set.

    made my life.

  • Stephen, you look fabulous :-)

  • I love suicide

  • second album foolie!

  • I WAS THERE, BITCHES!

  • philip j kim loves this shit. so do i.

  • great video

  • I am pretty sure that if they announced a gig at Wembley Stadium it would sell out.

  • tricks are everything to me.

  • fruit covered nails indeed

  • What does SM say at the beginning before "we all had them."?

  • "Close calls....Close calls...we've all had 'em"

  • IVE GOT A MESSAGE FOR YOU!

As one who got into Pavement after the fact i do hope the reunion happens

  • (: pretty song. good band.

  • nasty's percussion actually gives it that pavement sound. sounds manly.

  • an apt description.

  • lovely <3

  • He sort of sounds like Scott when he sings the response part of the chorus

  • fookin brill

  • Awesome. Thanks for posting this.

  • Yeah, this was a Pavement fans wet dream.

  • I started crying in the middle of this. Tears streaming down my face. This might possibly be the closest I'll ever come to seeing Pavement live.

  • I did get very excited when I heard him begin "Heaven is a Truck" I knew that he was going to go into a bunch of Pavement songs, and I started smiling and laughing, maybe on the brink of crying, but not quite. The most exciting thing is that I only just recently, within the past 4 months, have gotten into Pavement, so this really excited me to no end.

  • don't say that, you'll jinx the prospect of a reunion tour!

  • Don't worry that's happening no matter what. :) Can't wait

  • Cool, I'll probably see you at their first show. You'll be the one holding the mouse that is on fire, right?

  • Ha Ha. I got the name by combining the names of two of my favorite other bands (Arcade Fire and Modest Mouse) But if they come to Austin i will see you there
