  • Shure thats very nice, but who the f... picked the "music" for this video ?!!

  • thats an aquaskipper. wtf is a waterbird?

  • asians

  • Why use an engine and go fast when you can do alot of work and go slow.....Better then a boat and a jetski.....seriously

  • where to buy it?

  • Reminds me of strafe jumping.

  • My Tech teacher showed me this. It's so epic ;D

  • will it sink if u stop moving?

  • Good God! Look how long his fingernails are!!! 0__o

  • Oh great.. A segway on water.

  • This looks like a hell of a workout. And I wonder if it will sink if you stop moving it??

  • whats the name of the song ?

  • that looks funn

  • now i know that i want for x-mas :)

  • kewl idea but does not look fun, slow and takes a ridicules amount of energy to keep moving you stop you sink and i bet you cant take off once in the water to much resistance. b.t.w. i am canadian and we hate the french canadians as much as the rests of the world hates france other then them best country in the world to live in. other than the snow of course.

  • what a phenomenal machine that has so many hydrodynamic challenges beaten even to create propulsion with no moving parts, the designer if this revolutionary machine is my hero what a true inventor

were can I get one of these from

probably the best video I have ever seen on the tube and dont think it will ever be beaten

    pure magic

    andy

from west coast of Scotland UK

  • This thing looks easy to use but in fact its damn hard to learn. Tried again today for 4 hours and can only go about 5 meters haha

  • whats happens when you completly stop?

  • @Martinjls you dive. :)

  • Man if the Cubans had there hands on this

  • @Martinjls Hhahahhaahah

  • I thought it looks fun :D

  • looks gay

  • i don't care, it looks like fun

  • actually looks enyojable

  • where do I buy one?

  • @timrtuck if you read the description it mentions his email, probly expensive as balls though and he has to ship overseas if your in america

  • If this could be used at a beach with waves....it could potentially save lives. Maybe...

  • @numerid4 How would you stop it?

  • Better than a boat or jetski? I don't think so... Greener but you look like a god damn water kangaroo and theres no good old fashion danger factor.

  • where can I buy one?

  • If some part of the vehicle touches the ground, its not true flying or hovering. This goes for all such things, including so called "hovercraft". Its hovering when nothing on it needs to touch the ground. Same for flying.

  • nice but what happens if you fall into the water? how do you get back on it?

  • i would laugh if he dropped the screws in the water

  • the first two and a half minutes are instructions on assembly .. we really don't care about that.. make it 15 seconds and you're golden

  • @MrStimpy77 How do you know so well what we care about?

  • Nicely engineered! Maybe some sort of lightweight flotation material mounted at the foot level on the front arm and the rider's platform would make this a little more versatile especially in my area where we have wide deep rivers but not a lot of docks to launch from, plus you would be able to stop lol. This thing is awesome by the way.

  • People are amazing. Give them the right power tools, a few strips of metal, and they'll be able to propel themselves across a lake without getting wet. Makes you wonder what else people can do.

  • @frigidanchors ...MY,..HOW INSIGHTFUL. you must be a big 8th grader or something.

  • good water sports Thanks

  • Have one. Amazing.

  • its actually kinda tempting :]

  • THIS IS SOOO STUPID....

  • @redrumtheshining how is it stupid thats a cool invention whats wrong with you

  • so what is it with all you chinese doods and the funky, gnarly long fingernails? Trim those! Now! Get a haircut too ya dirty hippy!

  • @ryan8557 Your on the wrong side of the atlantic i afraid to say

  • Try Europe

  • @pilotpa28 ....jingar berrs jingar berrs,,..jingerr arr da way....fa ra ra ra ra rararara.

  • @13AJJONES your an idiot this thing is awsome and works realy well AND is available in america but honestly i think that they would be better anyway and look up nitrocircus i think that you should shut your mouth this isnt dumb or stupid and you simple havnt seen the idiocy that exists in other places in the world so shut it and learn some

  • @setheyboy13 WHERE DO YOU DIPSHITS COME FROM ?

LEARN TO SPEAK AND WRITE, THEN U MAY BE ABLE TO SOUND A LITTLE LESS STUPID.....MAYBE.

  • @ryan8557

These are asians my friend :)

  • @ryan8557 Theres only one thing worse than a canadain and thats a french canadian..

  • do we need the damn drum banging and banging and banging and banging and banging, can't watch any more, whats wrong with you, are testing your new drum out on US !!!! idiots !!!!

  • What if fall of?

  • dude that looks fun, they're actually kinda bookin it and all u gotta do is bounce lol

  • i prefer it for exercise and have fun

  • thats so retarded.... takes so much effort to get it moving and it goes like one mile per hour

  • see it as a water bycicle....it require more effort for less speed than a car but doesn't require carburant, only cinetic energy. same principle. "and you don't have to deconstruct and reconstruct again and again, it's as the bycicle a basic principle. by the way did you knew your comment was currently used for prime inventions, you should see the evolved form of a products not the base like comparing a cell and a full grown animal...not the same cappacity, same origins... (so say igor..

  • ...ok

  • thats a lot faster than one mile an hour, haha

  • they tried using that on mythbusters but apparently its really hard to use

  • It is hard to get the hang of however you have a great laugh learning. Once you start to get going its great fun. I am trying a new model it should be out soon and hopefully if you fall of you should be able to start again from deep water.

    Regards David

  • thats insane!

  • he needs to cuts his finger nails

  • yea this is bad ass, sell them in USA please

  • I like it.

    Where can I get one?

  • alet güzelde durunca batıyor =)

  • hahahahahaha this is for TARD'S XD

  • do u sink if u stop? lol

  • no the machine will self destruct if you stop :D

  • No Engine!? Ha-haa)))

  • possibly the gayest thing ive ever seen

  • the only thing more gay would be a tandem version

  • LOL!!!! :D

  • how the heck is that better than a boat and a jet ski???

  • because

  • Have you seen the cost of fuel these day's plus you keep fit.

  • and if you stop your fucked

  • Have a look at my reply up the list.

  • LOL!

  • good thing that you dont look like a complete retard

  • @fredzak222 good think you don't care about what others think about you.

  • WTF!?

  • man where do you live that water looks like kool aid!

  • thats something i'd like to try and have sex on ;)

  • how much is this?

  • What happens if you stop bouncing it sinks?

  • yah

  • leipe kak man

  • an asian would do it

  • what was ur max speed?

  • 16mph is the world record so cruise at 8-10?

  • 17MPH

  • WE SHOULD HAVE FUCKIN' RACES AND NEW OLYMPICS

although people who have lots of sex would be considered cheating as it looks like air humping...... >.>

  • It would be nice if it would float... so you could just sit out there and rest for a minute

  • Maybe floats on each of the vertical risers? Or perhaps a 6 to 8 inch thick foam platform under the rider just above water level. May be a little difficult starting back up though.

  • It floats so no worries and has a small inflatable arm type band at the from.

  • Hopefully a new model should be out soon

  • damn that tune is so annoying. Someone should go across the channel on one of these without falling for a guiness world record. lol

  • Looks like a lot of fun and I've been considering getting myself one for a couple of months now. But there's a one 'small' problem, I happen to weigh 128kg (280 pounds) and I was wondering whether this is too much for the waterbird (or aquaskipper, are they the same)? Has anyone with about the same bulk tried one these?

PS. No, I'm not fat, I'm tall (7') and with mesomorphic (robust) bodytype.

  • I will check max weights

  • @pilotpa28 ..SO AS LONG AS YOU NEVER GET TIRED,..OR OK...IF YOU STOP YOU DROWN...RIGHT?

  • If you cant swim then you should not use this.

Your local swimming pool should have swimming lessons so learn to swim first, so either way learning to swim or using the Waterbird should keep you fit.

  • Its pretty hard to swim when your exhausted and carrying a metal drowning device!

  • @13AJJONES hahaha

  • @pilotpa28 he does have a good point though, if you stop pumping then the entire craft will stop, right? so taking a rest is dangerous. how much is this device again?

  • i hate how it sinks. i know it might take away from the feeilng of "walking on water" but talk about tiring

  • How fast does it go & I want to see it on a wave in the surf. I will stick to jet skiing, but good if gas becomes unavailable totally, I suppose. Good Invention, it would be good training if you didn't want to mess with a jet ski everyday & had access to water. Good training.

  • LOL, that dude's got freaking huge fingernails!

This looks like tons of fun, BTW.

  • omg when do i get one ?

  • The beginning of a new age of kangaroo powered watercraft...

  • awesome , but i dont think you last long doing that

  • holy crap ! :O

  • Imagine if someone use this thing in rapids Oo

He'll dead I think. That's a good idea Waterbird, it look like fun, but you aren't allow to do acrobatic moves I think =D

  • maybe its just me, but that thing looks tiring

  • it's very fast!!!

  • they need to make a water falcon cause that bitch is slow!!!!

  • faster than a row boat.

  • this thing can't stop jumping or it ll sink

  • Does the Disco Fever soundtrack come with this invention.

  • I wonder what's the name of this slider

and How I can get it , coz I really want one

can I found it on eBay , What's the name ??

somebody help me PLZ !! ;(

  • its called an Aqua Skipper

  • Thanx

    is it worth to buy

  • possible, but isn't the whole point that it's human powered? It's a sport device so you use skill and fitness. Uncoordinated fat slobs have their jetskis and seadoos to haul their sweaty, lardy bulk over the water... or be towed wallowing, burger in chubby hand, on a barge.

These things are doing almost 20knots on less than 1/4 hp so you could easily power them with a line trimmer engine and model boat propellor if you were lazy.

  • @Grommo .....i didnt realize outboards hopped up and down like that...think ill just float my fat ass on a jet skii..HAHAHAHAZA!..THANX ANYWAYS.

  • @13AJJONES

BTW, 1/4 hp refers to the possible sustained output from a fit human, and doesn't refer to any engine.

Yeah, if you are oval shaped then best stick to wallowing like jelly on a barge or jetski with burger in hand. LOLz

  • Just my opinion, but it loos silly / geeky and not much fun. Hoping around for a few minutes, and no skill after your learn how.

  • That's what they say about many olympic sports too.

And jetskis.... pull throttle trigger, aim... yawn

There are races and distance events for these things, and now jousting with jousting poles.. it's on you tube!

  • If the foil catches on a chunk of kelp you come to a dead stop unless it is a small loose flat frond.. Human powered Hydrofoils like this rely on the extreme low drag of foils for them to work. You might catch a clip if the kelp sticks out of the water by two inches, which is the lowest height of any clip to the water surface, but the foil hitting anything that increases drag significantly will stop you straight away and in you go for a leisurely swim.

  • @Grommo ....fa ra ra ra ra..rararara....jinger arr dar way.

  • an example of bio-mimicry??

  • Yes, whale and dolphin tails are foil shapes and the up and down action of these combined with angle change provides forward thrust in exactly the same way. These however use the forward motion generated to create lift as well to support the weight of the rider.

  • The likelyhood of a clip failing on these is negligible. I haven't had a failure after years of use. Far from shore a clip is the least of your worries.

Most people can barely ride these things more than 100 ft

Exhaustion means you will stop and sink and these do not float with rider on board. They are hydrofoils and rely on fast motion to stay up. If you stop you cannot start again from the water except by relaunching back on the dock. If falling in water is a problem don't ride it at all.

  • Do you sink if you stop jumping?

  • yes. You will sink even if you jump hard if your technique and rhythm is wrong. They work like a whale's tail and the main foil must change angle and be driven up and down in the right sequence. If you do it wrong they will stop no matter how hard you jump.

  • hahha i can see some guy coming out of no where and being like its a fun, and its a work out!!!

  • does anyone know how well it does on rougher waters? say 1-2 foot swells?

  • slower and a little harder but pretty much the same

  • nah...so that you can pull them out and insert them quick...and having them on a clip so that you dont loose them...

And..what would YOU use instead of pins?

  • um...they are PINS...used on everything from Nascar to Grenades...

  • water pogo stick?

  • That is mean! it looks like a Snowbike but on water, and your bouncing! DANG that looks fun!

  • the mere genius of this invention is outstanding.

  • reminds me of the time i took my pogo stick on the lake

  • and what happends when u get tired? lol

  • you sink. lol

  • Cool machine.

  • Thats awesome xD

Love it, shouldn't be very expensive i think

  • genius

  • Very cool science!

    RESPECT!

,,,kind of makes me jumpy just watching it, though,,,sorry, i couldn't resist.

  • Awesome invention. Must be the fastest human powered thing on water......

  • haha! dont stop jumping!

  • its like a damn erector set puttin that thing together haha

  • GENIAL!!!

  • Nice conserve the environment and loose weight xD

  • $??

  • For every one asking about the music:

    C-MOS - 2 Million Ways [Dub Edit]

  • music?

  • Couple of foam pontoons at the level of the foot platform, a small gas or electric motor mounted on the back....

then you wouldn't NEED to worry about getting tired. :))

  • better get that shit copyrighted

  • wer do i get 1 and how much

  • that's so fly!!!! i just know i would get tired fast, so my question is, if you take a break from bouncing, do you sink?

  • yes , if you stop you sink

  • That´s really really clever! Kudos to the inventor

  • damn thats clever ill buy one mate

  • So you poster here just to brag over your jetski?

Probably to get people to watch your videos..

  • haha yep i do! and braggings not my knida thing tbh being that i got a video up saying im selling it jeez man

  • sick idiot , turn ur ass green stupid

  • DICK

  • Mythbusters owes us an apology, apparently ninjas couldnt have waked on water but this video proves otherwise.

  • Fantastic invention. Race it with a slalom course around bouys. Great workout for your quads. It's fast, too! Congratulations, obviously designed by a genius. I hope they are affordable.

  • Hey, anybody knows what is the title of this music ???

  • looks like it works on the same principle as a dolphin.

  • i think the rowing teams have faster human powered watercraft

  • I am in the united states. Where can I purchase this and for how much?
