This song is very dear to me. Sad and sweet I have already decided this will be played at my funeral (No I'm not ill, just a wish). Actually the words don't mean a thing. Jon Anderson just created sounds that sounded sort of Italian, but the fact the words are meaningless makes it perfect. For me a statement on life I want to share at my death, as for me it symbolises the world… beautiful but impossible to understand most of the time.
