Not island bound...city bound....been in california coast and miss kailua. and a girl named pam mendoza,,,now married...oh wells . if she's happy...so am I but...dam...what happen? i supposed to be the one#$%^$#$%^ lol
The first 2 albums were so spot on great, vocals instruments,lyrics. Mackey never lost that sing along attitude like, " whoa first beer hit the spot, you guys like hear another song??" Seems like he would sing when conditions weren't just right or his voice was a little scratchy, even if he knew it wasn't his best he would try to give it a go.
Listened to this on 8-track along with C&K driving to high school every morning in the 70's on the Big Island. Sweet!!!!!! Thanks for posting all of their best. Every tune brings back a flood of good time memories. Even though he's gone, Macky is still the 'man'.
