This swap could be done for under $10,000 in parts, but if your paying the labor for a shop you would spend way more!! This car took lots of hours to build!!
The 2jz would be a sweet swap for making tons of power!! Its really a case-by-case choice for cars owner and what they are using the car for, for ME I like it for drifting,auto X, open track days. The 2jz is not the ideal engine swap choice. I picked the F20c because of the light weight, power & power potential!!

Koyo AE86 one, then just flipped it around and moved the outlets to the other side. There's a build thread with pics on Hachiroku under wryanns F20c.

the engine set costs around $4k. since I'm from the Philippines where labor is cheap it only cost me around $1k for labor.

The F20/22 swap will very in cost depending on what you pay for the engine set. some say at as little as 6k and as much as 15k.

I'm doing a engine swap with a AP2 and I was wondering how difficult it is to get the motor started and working? any advice?

Really just take you time with the wiring, it should start right up with an AEM S2000 start tune.
