is it anew set or a reconditioned ,it looks and sounds beautiful and ive heard they run for ever on minimul maintanence was it under load when started if not id love to hear it loaded cheers

  • Get it running on veg oil!

  • are these ones like the old ones,, run off any oil,, veg or bacon grease,,, I saw electric start,, can u strip it down to no electronic parts, so it works after an EMP Attack???

  • @ikambor it wouldn't work anyway... an emp would build up power in anything that has resistance, the generator head would therefore be no good. the copper would most likely gather extreme voltage and probably blow up. after an emp attack the only way to get power is by somehow getting something from an area not affected. this is what i understand about emp atleast.

  • @KingofComputing Wrong. It will affect the electronics...wires, ect. It will not "blow" the copper, or affect the "head".

  • @IronRangeSurvival wires are copper but they're not what i'd be worried about i'd be worried about all the coils inside. that's where the electricity would build up during the first stage of an EMP

  • I had two of these ,they werelight-plants for allmand generators...I found out that these were used on the alaskan oil pipeline, the US marine corp also used these same models...very durable machines.

  • @57ironworker Yea the American Military are still using them, We just finished a large batch off them a month ago.
