well, la-di-da shinaz. So Veena and Neena specialize in Bhangra, not Belly dance. This is simply their BELLY DANCE INSTRUCTIONAL dvd. You know, maybe they will put out a Bhangra instructional dvd too.

Or maybe YOU could put one too, letting everybody know the different styles of Middle Eastern/Orientale dance. Or how about how it has evolved to where women all over the world have embraced it and made it their own.

Hello?? They're Indian. In Arabic, there's no such thing as the letter "V". Also, their last names are Bidasha which is purely Indian. I don't think any arab would name their daughters neena or veena, let alone possess the surname "Bidasha". These twins specialize in Bhangra dance, not belly dance. Bhangra dance is a dance which originated in India. So don't assume any facts when you have none.

I'm not talking about Muslims, I'm talking about Arabs. There's no "V" in Arabic language. Please don't get confused between the religion and the language. And yes, Neena and Veena are from America, but they're of Indian ethnicity. So don't get confused between Nationality and Ethnicity, they are two different things. Plus, I never meant to insult Pakistanis or Indians, as my topic of discussion was relating to whether the twins were of Indian or Arab ethnicity. Try to expand your thinking ;)

1. it s all the same for every dancer in america on mainstream videos, 2. i find it vulgar. have never seen it on arab dancers so far. would have been better had she not fallen into that cliché.

Hi Dinevienna :)A lot of Lebanese dancers do floorwork. Check out Maya Albi Saad. Some ppl are touchy when it comes to floorwork. I think it all depends on the audience you're performing for. Nagwa Fouad has done floorwork in some very revealing costumes, too.
