@birdcatcher You have to kill it with a critical hit, rather than just killing it out of sheer punishment. Ebony and Ivory work well cause it takes longer to kill it, more room for mistakes.You've gotta hit his scissors out of the way, then come round the side and shoot him in the face!

How come if you're in the water part, you get hurt (and not be able to use the needlegun). But in mission 13, you can swim underwater just fine and can use the needlegun?

if you die you MUST use a yellow orb to continue, no other way unless you turn off your ps2

Got it! Just use the stinger charge in the direction of the floating rock, and you will be propelled over there.
