I hate to bust peoples bubbles, but there is not one scripture reference on saying a lil prayer to get saved, There is not one place where anybody said a lil prayer to get saved inscripture. So where did that come from. I see so many miss quotes in scripture and wrong interpretation of scripture. I happen to LIKE this band they are really Cool. So KUDOS to ApologetiX.

@Domodeath but it is a start seeing the Sinners prayer ask JESUS in your heart. So yes saying a sinners prayer can help you get saved.

@Domodeath How were you saved without asking God into your life? That's what the "Sinners Prayer" is- Asking God into your life. If you haven't done that, then without Jesus Christ you can 'NOT' be saved. And I therefore doubt your salvation. I'm just saying....

@7Anonymou I doubt your Salvation, the sinners prayer is nothing but a man made lie that has helped damn millions of people to Hell. Test yourself with Scripture to see if you HAVE TRULY been born again. Is there EVIDENCE tat you are a TRUE believer and not a false convert? Please friend, search "Examine youself" on youtube. I plea with you, examine your life... Just as Saint Paul wrote "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not..." (Read 2nd Cor 13:5)

@Domodeath Sighs you're not getting the point. I'm not saying "once saved always saved" But saying that confessing your sin to God is the first of many steps you take to get closer to Him. Of course I check myself everyday. I'm not perfect, no1 is. We all go through temptations, but read 'Romans 10:9'. In the end it all boils down to 'confession' Your good works won't get you anywhere. We all need to confess at some point.
