In the multiplayer demo, the best species by far is the aliens. There is nothing more satisfying than scurrying upside down on the ceiling before giving an ear piercing hiss followed by ripping an unsuspecting marine in half.

I hope that in the aliens campaign you start off as a Facehugger like in AVP 2 for the PC, I loved that one I must have played each campaign over 20 times and I never got bored

Can you counter a trophy kill? i could have sworn that one time when i was playing multiplayer i was predator and i was about ready to stab an alien during a trophy kill and it countered me and went behind me and killed me, if you can how do you do it?
@WildShadow1989 - It's an ok game. Multiplay is fun BUT no one is going to do the behind the player insta kill anymore... it makes you vulnerable to getting insta killed from behind yourself. The move is cool, but so lame you can't speed it up so you don't get killed also... Too many games on multi where someone does a behind insta-kill and they get insta-killed too because the animation was still going on for them so they can't move. The highest continuous insta kill I've seen was 4-in-a-row.
No, Colonial Marines has been pushed back...again. It will release sometime later in 2010 (somewhere around November or December I think) While AvP is being released in about 2 ad a half weeks from the time I'm writing this comment. AkA November. 16th or 17th i think. Whatever the case, the Aliens and predator cannon is gowing strong, and was huger than any other game on the market for a time. I hope to see it reignite the old excitement, maybe even rivalin the Halo gere. Here's hoping! =D

CM was pushed back to make way for this game, itll release eventually, though i can see in these game trailers that they did take an element of CM and added it to this game, i forget what they called it in the CM Preview in PC Gamer months ago, but say your about to get facehugged, you can hit a button right before it happens and you can prevent it, this is also how in the Marine Reveal trailer, the Marine kicked the alien drone off him after it had floored him and was about to Headbite him

Man, I'm getting so stoked on this. I was a HUGE AvP2 player, mostly played as the Alien and Predator classes. Hopefully they keep the multiplayer as great as it was with AvP2 and just improve on it. I would try all three races before making a dumbass accusation that one race is better than the other two because you don't know if that race is "the best". Odds are it isn't.
Essentially it all boils down to what tactic are you going to use that decides the best race for you. If someone's better at another tactic then obviously a different race will be the best for them.

Lol? How so...Halo has extremely outdated graphics [though they had to keep the graphics clearly close to halo 2/halo:ce]
If anything, halo reminds me of AvP lol.
Remember, Aliens and Predator were both released movies/games before Halo was even out,
Also, halo doesn't have that scary atmosphere the aliens games put you through.

Man, I'm getting so stoked on this. I was a HUGE AvP2 player, mostly played as the Alien and Predator classes. Hopefully they keep the multiplayer as great as it was with AvP2 and just improve on it. I was like 9 or 10 when that game ruled my life, now it's gonna be interesting to compare the two experiences!

predator or aliens idk predator has camo and an infa red mask so it can see the aliens or the marines no matter how dark or how much light there is, but aliens multiply faster and have facehuggers and they pop out of the stomach and it kills the marines

this game is pretty much going to be ALIEN VS PREDATOR! i dont think many people will go with marines for the sheer fact that this franchise, is all about the aliens and preadators, and has been promoting them since the beggining.

I would try all three races before making a dumbass accusation that one race is better than the other two because you don't know if that race is "the best". Odds are it isn't.

Essentially it all boils down to what tactic are you going to use that decides the best race for you. If someone's better at another tactic then obviously a different race will be the best for them.
