Many people fail to realize that it was the white man that divided Korea in 1945. Today, the American white man still wants to see Korea divided. Many people fail to realize that it was the white man that divided Korea in 1945. Today, the American white man still wants to see Korea divided. It is no wonder why some people commenting here are so afraid to see effort of unification between the two Koreas, it is because they don't want to see the Koreas unite. If you read any manuscripts from Malcolm X you will understand it better. The white man's goal is always to divide and conquer. Turn one against the other.

They are way too separate to unify. North Korea adopted Russian and Chinese methods while South Korea adopted Japanese and American methods.

I was referring to the methods used by imperialist powers that was used in South Korea to make the country a political puppet, even after independence. The same applies for North Korea and their bankrupt Stalinist Communist system. That's how is was in Korea under US and USSR mandates between 1945 and 1948. That how the West has divided and conquered, by using every political tactic to show their power. (But not for USSR).

If your gripe is with imperialism, rather than race, why use the racially charged phrase "the white man"? Sure, the people you believe divided Korea may have been primarily white, but that simply doesn't seem relevant. No more relevant than using "the Han" to refer to forces in the PRC government keen on ensuring HK, Macau and Tibet remain part of China under the one government, and moving towards re-unification with the ROC.

The way I see it (and you can tell me I got it all wrong, yeah yeah, heard it all before), North Korea, live by Communism, where everything is controlled, the people, way of life, no freedom. And to them, they are safe, in their world. Shielded by outside Influences, the "West" and all that. But In this "21st" Century, countries need to co-op with each-other to a certain extent. Trade, business, economy. N-Korea, weather it likes it or not, gets help from its neighbors (China).

Just because the "Dear Leader" says communism is the greatest economy on the planet doesn't make it true.
The facts are communism is the most repressive form of government in existence. China limits the amount of children a couple can have. North Korea treats its citizens like prisoners. Both countries are third world nations.
The only gleam of hope for the Chinese is that their leaders are adopting state-run capitalism. That will eventually lead to a completely free market system.

China no longer treats its people like prisoners to the extent that North Korea treats them. However, Chinese cannot emigrate to Hong Kong or Taiwan without governmental permission.
