Incredible! This was definitely the absolute peak for Kiss. How damn good and tight do they sound here (this is gold dust footage - thanks!). Ace and Peter's hearts are still in it and this illustrates just how good they were when they were at their best. The roller-coaster careered out of control after this (Love Gun tour, '77). It was all about that massive stage show - sheer size and spectacle - and they lost their edge, often sounding sloppy live. Long live Kiss, (esp. Destroyer era)!!!
This band always gets slagged. While they're certainly not the best musicians or songwriters ever, their music, stage show and vocals all were highly original and powerful. Critics be damned. The first 5 albums are still as exciting as ever. The band was actually darker, heavier and edgier on the first three studio albums than many of their contemporaries. Their influence is highly profound and everyone in rock who is honest, will acknowledge that fact. Thanks, ChaimKiss.
i love this!!!!!!!...back in the day,you didn't see a lot of african american's at a kiss show..that didn't stop me !!!!!!!..thank you kiss for everything you've done for music and live show's!!!!!!
ive been trying to figure out what bass Gene is playinf here for the longest time, but i cant find any info on it, or pics of it! whos it made by? whats it called? HELP!
Back then they were a really good little rock and roll band. They had something. It's all gone now but during those days they were definitely something special. Hyped as hell and never as big as they made themselves but they were rocking. They are a joke since 1998. And not even a good one.
this was when Gene actually tried to perform because he HAD to.....he was hungry back then.....now he`s washed up with the replacements without any new material...he needs Ace and he KNOWS it...but his monster ego keeps him from becoming a man...still a mommas boy
Kiss was so good at this time. They were huge. And now they try and keep the dream alive. With a fake drummer and a fake guitar player. Ace and Peter were the best.
I was in the front near the fence for this concert the most Influencial concert of my life! July 10th,1976 Roosevelt Stadium, Jersey City, New Jersey!
this is more like 1977...costumes was different in '75, '76

don't judge pete looking back at his past. it's because of this playing style that he developed carple tunnel and can't "bring it" anymore.
