  • Feild dress 'em you'll have better meat then use the golf ball method similar to the one video on here .but rather than pulling the hide off and hanging deer lay the deer on the grd tie off the golf ball to a anchor and leif the deer the hide will come off just like taking off your coat no hair or mess ,

  • nice, I never skinned a deer before but I have skinned more lamb than I can count. and when I get in the zone I can skin the whole thing in about 4 - 5 minutes, thats removing guts and everything. I don't have a little hanger like that that but I put a hook through that tendon on one leg works fine. I can spin it to the other side without changing places. and once you get the right parts cut away you can literally pull it's hide right off with no damage.

  • @TheMuslimKiller Wow, that is pretty good. This was a instructional video for a young boy to learn how to skin for the first time. That little hanger is called a skinning gambrel. It also spins. Why are you skinning lambs again?

  • @picanroll Well I butcher my own lamb, get live ones from the livestock auction. Best way to get the freshest meat. It's a Greek thing. A quick throat slit and hang em upside down and get to work. In about an hour give or take 30 minutes I got super fresh lamb chop BBQ and raw liver salad, some garlic, cilantro, paprika, and cumin with a touch of cayenne pepper and a squeeze of lemon. You don't want to eat raw liver from the store, it's still warm when I'm eating it.

  • @picanroll can you keep the fur

  • @skittlemaster15 Sure, you could tan the hide for all kinds of leather products, gloves, jackets, etc.

  • Is one of your dogs a Blue Lacy?

  • I've never seen anyone leave the guts in? is there a reason for that?

  • @judd74duster This was just a skinning video...How to Butcher a Deer Fast @ LIVEOAK FORKS Ranch Hondo, TX is the actual field dressing.

  • @picanroll Yes, his name is Rowdy. Watch him work trailing a deer's blood trail..."Deer Blood Trailing w/ Rowdy the Dog @ LIVEOAK FORKS Ranch"

  • @judd74duster I don't field dress them anymore so I don't get my hands bloody in the field and have to get all my gear dirty. If you wait and do it while it's hanging then the guts will fall right out into a bucket. I do however fielddress them in the field early season (when it's warm outside) to keep from the meat spoiling quicker. Guts will spoil first, so if there still in tact when it's warm they will cause your meat to spoil quicker. Hope this helps. Good and hunting and God bless!

  • deer coat hanger.

  • WOW, I like the setup you got for skinning game!!! Great video!!
