  • @Geffreyvdbos Hmm, jammer om eerlijk sijn. Marja, engels is ek prima;)

  • geweldig!

  • my copy (edda Marcel Otten) does not mention loki breaking free (after the taunt of loki page 95) but indeed he participates in Ragnarok. well what ever cant wait to hear the other songs!

  • As far as I know both Germanic and Scandinavian versions mention Loki on the rocks being tormented by a snake. The wife can't catch every drip of venom and so it burns in his flesh. Also Loki breaks free on one point to participate in the Ragnarök, what's between these two moments is twilight zone........ It can be that the God dies and in latter stadium returns to fight the Ragnarök, the Edda isn't very clear about that......

Very fucking nice song by the way, can't wait for the rest!

  • Klinkt wer bêst genoch! Noflik stikje herrie!

  • But according to the myth, he did not die. He lies there still, and his wife holds a cup to catch the serpent's venom. When she has to empty the cup, the venom burns him, and he writhes, causing an earthquake. At Ragnarok he'll get free.

  • @Oswulf1 Correct but that is the scandinavian version. maybe the germanic version is different? i dont know but as far as i know you got it right.
