What Adult Subtext was there!? I think this is mainly a good kids movie, but other movies like Megamind, How to train your dragon, Up and more are for just about everyone. This movie was okay, but it needed to develop Gru better so I could sympathize with him more. Plus why did they go with the traditional "Dreamworks dance party" at the end?

Despicable Me was good. The voice-acting was incredible, but the story was predictable. Here is what I say, if you want an extremely adventurous self developing life changing movie, I suggest Toy Story 3. But if you just want a cute movie with nothing but laughs, then watch DM. I personally give Despicable Me a 9.
