biggest mistake, was you used C groove, with your team you should be using A groove. Secondly, you jump to much. you just need to counter his every move and zone him like a champ. he VERY easy to destroy.

Capcom vs Snk 2 is the best of CvS games. The 3rd one (svc chaos) has nice gameplay, but unfortunately the explosion and effects doesn't make the characters looks cool enough.

@CykoMelody I think when akuma's normal his sign is "Ten" (meaning sky or heaven, meaning he has surpassed humanity) and shin akuma's sign in CvsSNK2 I read somewhere that it means "God" or "Divine"

you just play it on hard (8stars) without loosing any battle, thats how I did it, although playing with these characters is boring, snk has a lot more to offer (Terry, Ryo, Iori for example).

Shin Akuma kills you in 4 seconds with the most obscene of combos. Ultimate Ruugal just spits in your face and it kills you. Honestly, that scissor kick of ruugal deals ridiculous damage.

@Perfectedidiot21 I agree with you. Shin Akuma is a very fast opponent, which suits my style since I use fast characters (Akuma, Ken for example). Speed and defensive playing combined gets him down reasonably well. Now Rugal, there's a bitch... defending won't work since his damage is ridiculous even through block, and he teleports like a madman sometimes. I noticed that speed and pure offense works best against Rugal, but even then you need to be very lucky NOT to get hit by supers or combo's..
