  • Nice skill w/nice abs.

  • im happy that there is another man of color on utube who enjoys chinese martial arts as much as i do! (u kinda look like me practicing :)

  • NICE! I practice Lai Tung Pai/ Encircle Fist in Mint Hill. But before I had a teacher, I learned a little bit of Hung Gar as my base. All I can say is, if the sparring in your school looks anything like this, I would love to travel to SC and inquire about what I have to do to start learning

  • This is fuckin sick i wish i could get the training he got haha

  • His Hung Kuen is indeed impressive. He's earned my respect =D

  • Thank you for this. I appreciate your love and respect for Kung fu. This is phenomenal.

  • This is an excellent demo of what Real Hung Gar is. Tiger Crane form, hitting trees to develop the iron body, unless you have gone through the training of Iron Body it is more difficult to appreciate this video. And to the MMA guys who scoff at the "Kung Fu Kid" in the woods training... you try it.

  • nice flow bro, there is a lot that can't be seen. respect

  • As I consider myself a Western Boxer/MMA practitioner as my base, I still have a profound and humble appreciation for the traditional martial arts. We should not be prejudice against one another, but instead evolve with the times whilst retaining our heritage.

  • @Ronnock Truer words have never been said, brother.

  • Holy shit that guy is ripped! Respect man.

  • Brings a tear to my eyes to see traditional martial arts still around. Great stuff.

  • This is the real deal. Too many instructors are taking the forbiden fruit of MMA instead of fracticing the art of "Save your A" IMO MMA represents the worst revolutin in martial arts because it pits strength against strength, brutality over technique. What I mean is the chinese styles take an average man and teach him conditioning and technique that alows him to win a fight in lid or death situations (i.e crane beak to the eye). In 20 years the "old MMA masters" will expose the over 60 masters.

  • @miracleboy1 Have you ever taken any MMA classes?

  • @j4allen

No, i have never trained any MMA. Ive been studying "traditional" martial arts(kung fu) since i was a child.

  • Very nice, I like the way you find a kwoon at the trees and the adaptation to make it work.

    Congratulations

  • I practiced some Hung Ga with a friend one day, and as a Northern Mantis student, it nearly killed me!

  • great job, unbelievable to see people train like this out side of my country,to be honest, better than some so called "kungfu masters" in China

  • Hao Gung Fu!

  • Good stuff. always good to see the few out there still willing to train hard to achieve the REAL thing, something SO few today in this lazy society are willing to do anymore. Good you are doing some forearm conditioning as well as the Tiger claw grabbing to really make the style and moves that much more effective. Keep up the good work!

  • Ridiculously good form. I love it.

  • That was a great video try inspiration

  • looks good!

  • the trees must hate it when he comes to train

  • SICK!

Have no idea why there are dislikes on this video.

  • @Kashmereair That's the way of the world brother. Haters will always be haters..LOL No matter they can hate and dislike all they want , still can't take away from the fact this brother Hung Ga form is on point! IMPRESSIVE 5 STARS,,,LOL

  • @ManupStandup True indeed.

  • Please get Lavelle's workout regimen so I can get jacked like him =)

  • Very impressive

  • Amazing video love the soundtrack too ;-)
