Hi I think this is great but I was just wondering if you could tell me what type of material you used to put over the end of the box to defuse the light? Thanks
A little late response - You could use some wax paper (for cooking) and you would achieve the same result. Odds are you have some wax paper in your house already. FREE!
Well i cant remeber wot box i used ,but it was made from basically one piece, so when i could just fold the sides up and then taped them. i also put another square bit of card with a hole in and stuck that inside so it was stronger and thinker.
I'm going to purchase about three of the work lamps you had in your video and actually use your technique. This is by far the best DIY softbox I've seen.
Thank you :)

:D
I'll be using this.
Also: consider using another layer at the middle of the difuser cone to difuse the light even more.

Question.
What type of box did you use?
I created on of these and I made it with several lose pieces and then put them all together to look like yours.
But I see that your pieces are all connected.
So what type of box did you use?
Thank you so much!

what if I am taking pictures of posters with a glossy lamination on them. How do I get rid of that reflective shine?
euphorichuman 3 years ago
you could try a polarizing filter, might get rid of some of the reflections.

Looks awesome! Do you have the plans? Can you give some details on how it was made? What kind of light is that? Nice work.
