@Ilikefoiegras , it was merely an observation that some singers seem to put on a 'Mummerset' accent to sing Elizabethan songs; it grates on my ears somewhat. If you think legitimate criticism such as that is 'silly, arch and pedantic' all I can say is you haven't looked at many Youtube comments! (try looking at national anthems for REALLY silly ones...)
@xxJ3nnym...etc. This is practically the easiest song there *is* to learn. It seriously takes about one minute.

Beautiful and authentic. I sang this when I was I chorister in Cambridge. Although it's a secular song we sang it at feast days in the college.

Is the singer attempting some kind of 'Elizabethan' accent? It sounds like broad Bristolian to me... 'Mair fools then woise' etc..
