The song is from a popular movie in Hindi language.

This style of dress comes from Rajasthan in it's original form. Now,it is worn widely in the northern parts of India. It's called Lehenga-Choli with Chunri. It has been popularised by Hindi films a great deal. In earlier days this was the way it was worn (this is a very old song - 1970s). Now you will see these dresses in very chic styles with lots of intricate and delicate work on them.However, you can still get the lehengas like these ones which act as ethnic skirts, all over.
