I was looking for this fairy tale long on dvd. Recently I found. Today I watched it for the first time since childhood room. This is an incredible story personally my favorite. Every time I cry when I watch. Much better than disney.

I always loved this movie when I was a kid, and I was devastated when we got rid of all our VCR tapes. I found a cheap DVD version recently to watch again, and was surprised at how CHEESY this movie was. I didn't remember it being so ridiculously dramatic when I was a kid... But then again, I was a ridiculously dramatic kid =P

I am on my brothers account, but I am 20 and I rememebred watching this movie and it was always my favorite. I ended up losing my copy in the process of moving 3 times but ended up finding it again a few months ago at target with some of the other jetlag princess movies. :) My life felt complete after finally finding it, and now even more that I know its on facebook! <3

I feel stupid now...I knew it was Japanese...im so obsessed with "this" Cinderella, i decided to design my prom dress with the colors of the dress she wore to the ball - Im gonna find a prince too!!

I have alot in common with Cinderella...my mother died a few years ago too - but I still haven found my prince!

Cinderella & the Prince have outstanding voice actors - and the prince...this version vs. Disney is so much better, I mean, this Prince doesn't look like he needs to go on steroids...enough said

@Najiro0988 But DIsney's Cinderella is much older than Jetlag's.I don't mean I don't like this version, it's my second favourite Cinderella movie.And you're right abut their Japanese look, but this movie is not an anime.I've seen anime version of Cinderella and this is 100 % non-anime.

Animes are just different, this movie might be half-anime.Not like I don't like it, but animes are not so 'warm' like this movie , and more 'nasty'.But that's just my opinion.

@rajek333 Oh, no, no. Anime does not have to be nasty. In fact, there are tons of 'sweet', cheery Disney-like anime productions. Look at my older videos and you'll find plenty of examples of 'warm' anime. =]

Yes, this film has been available on DVD since 2002 from GoodTimes DVD, unfortunately now owned by Gaiam. Order it online at Amazon or something if you plan to, but not from Gaiam. They'll offer to sell you an "assortment" of these DVDs, as if they were flavored candies or something.
