  • I am sad I never go to meet him. His book is a fascinating read on many levels. I can't get the book back from my Dad. He's stuck on the whorehouse story.

  • @jelyho I passed your post onto Marie, Paul's widow. She got a big laugh from it, thank you!

  • @58rip Ah, that's nice.

It was good to share the book with my Dad, as it started some good stories about the War. But the book is a treasured inscribed copy and I'm afraid my Dad may forget it's MY book.

  • Paul was the nicest! Be sure to read his book. It's full of very funny stories, it's well worth your time.

  • I bet this was a nice Guy. I'll have to find his book.

  • Paul was a hell of a guy! A great friend to have, it's not the same without him around.

  • wonderful classic story told in a very entertaining way. he must have been a hell of a guy. thanks for posting!

  • Paul won! He was Hollywood's Master Storyteller after all. He will be greatly missed by all of us, but at least he left a wonderful body of work, and a few youtube videos for us to remember him by.

  • So who won the book contest? I was one to buy paul's book for my mother who knew him personally in the early 70's. I just found out about his death.

  • Yes, Paul Picerni played Lee Hobson on The Untouchables. Check out the video Paul Picerni & John Gloske Discuss Their Book. It contains a funny story about the making of that classic TV show.
