  • @GJmusique: No, it wouldn't. In Saint-Sulpice it would sound mushy and blurry. Saint-Sulpice has a HUGE acoustic. He is wisely accommodating himself to the room (very important!). In your defense; in a smaller, deader room, a faster tempo would be appropriate, yes.

  • excuser moi de ne pas avoir le materiel adequat pour enregistrer mais il est difficile de faire la balance, la prise de son etc et en plus de tourner les pages de l'organiste. c'est filmer avec un appareil photo !

  • OK, mais c'est dommage, l'orgue ne sonne pas bien du tout.

    Mais merci quand même pour ta vidéo, et quelle chance tu as eue de pouvoir être à la tribune de Saint-Sulpice !

  • Sans doute les qualités de cet orgue pourraient être mieux appréciées, mais la qualité de la video en elle-même est très bonne.

  • EXCELLENT. I've always want to hear this on its home organ, although I do wish the mic were out away from the console. VERY nice interpretation, well-suited to the extreme resonance of a French cathedral (and the ungodly heavy action on that organ...)
