S300M can(not every missile though), but S400 can shot down any missile with speed up to 6M. We have a lot of S300s but very few S400s. Even on 9th of May parades we show S300s.

Russian airforce has in it's inventory around 1800 fighter planes, vast majority of them are Soviet era made. 1200 of those planes are completely inoperable and required major overhaul. Russians trying to "save" the rest by keeping them on the ground. Russian fighter pilots fly on average 50 hours a year (of course select few of them fly more, but here we are talking about AVERAGE pilot) though an airforce min standard is 120hrs/year.

Pilot major Troyanov who crashed on the Lithuanian territory in September 2005 has annual flight time of 14 hours, because of this he got lost and crashed.
May be for the last two years Russian airforce slightly improved this situation but still, comparing training and experience of an average Russian fighter pilot with an average USAF pilot is just ridiculous.

nice video I really like it, if this was russian air space the, S-300 or S-400 complex will rape the Typhoon, the decoy plan will be ignored. 9K33 OSA uses command guidance and Optical Sight Sensor, and can be fooled. Still OSA uses adanced OSS that doesn't determine the target just by size, so this vid is con!
On the otherhand 48n6e2 with imaging infrared seeker will kill the typhoon for sure. And most russian airspace is covered by S300/S400 networks in echeloned enviroment. SO ERG EGGHH!

Russia basically has a ton of weapons left over from the cold war, they are currently a poor country with an overwelming crime rate and wouldnt last long against the USA.
Russian pilots get an average of 2 hours flight time per year.
Americans get an average of 200 hours per year.

f-16 is not our primary fighter. f-22 and f-35 are the new ones. both stealth designed for areal combat dogfights. Nothing in the world compares with the f-22. Most of its on board systems are classified but proven effective against other modern technology.

You are correct that the F/A-22 Raptor is the best plane, but it is not our primary fighter, there are only 183 F/A-22 Raptors, not nearly enough to police the Airspace we control. The F-15 is the standard plane until about 2011 when the F/A-22 is being produced more anually. Also the F-35 Lightning is not a fighter aircraft, it is a hover aircraft being built to replace the A-10 Thunderbold which is a anti-tank plane, built to destroy enemy armor and other things such. This is a Eurofighter tho

Afganistan - this is nobody's business, this is our border, and we have a right to defend it. Chechnya - is a part of Russian Federation. Insurgents, as you name them, were and still are (in much smaller numbers) armed by the USA and CO. Insurgents have to have arms, so there has to be somebody, who will supply those arms. We are not that dirty, like you, guys, but from now on we can supply arms not to insurgents, but to the very people of Afganistan. How would have you like that, smartie?
