I worked at lagoon as a ride operator right next to jet star.
I was the tilt-A-wherl operator the summer of 1989-1990.
Every morning, i was one of 6 employed at the park that tested that ride before the park opened.
Most of the time the ride was shut down to the public until the tracks warmed up, so that the computers breaking censers would alow the cart to drop on the first drop you see in the video you did.
this ride would be so much better in a big dark tent!.... oh wait, alton towers has one, ..... oh wait... some moron at AT sold the jetstar2 and the tent has been doing fuck all for almost a decade :-/
@vegunited06 Yeah not sure if they had to sell the coaster cos it was too old or something and the tent is currently used as a giant Shed / Storage area i've heard. But i do agree they should buy another Jet Star 2 and Re-Launch Black Hole all done up, would be awesome. The Black Hole was the first ever roller coaster I went on so it's always been a very important memory in my life.
haha its funny when your waiting to for the sky lift and watching at the end cuz it goes fast then stop pretty fast and people but heads with the people in front of them haha
This ride sucks if your in the front they have a bag in the front just in case you hit your head. When I went on it I hit my nose on it it was painfull!

omgg. ahh. This ride gives you whiplash!! :P I don't like it that muchh. This ride hurts the most out of all the rides in the park!

last time i was at lagoon was during frightmares last year and that ride got stuck going to the top
everyone had to wait for like 5 minutes
