This does work but if you don't dare to try it, then don't do it. This is possibly dangerous, note that this is a Lithium battery and can turn itself over 600 degrees Fahrenheit and explode when heated. Or when it gets shortcutted.

In other words; possibly very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.

@iskoldhassanersej check the Chick HEN method before pandorizing your battery, since PSP 3000 comes with a TA-088 v3 board and DDC method wont work on tose boards.

DDC comes out for "Despertar Del Cementerio" (Awaking from Cemetary in english).

well not very hard just keepin light when you start tosee somethin shiny thats thebattery so be carefull just do it like not hard but kind of....medium pressure. i did it then i put cfw on my psp. i couldnt restore it but fond a program which makes into a normal AND pandora battery. now it charges and switches off amazing!

hey...tried it...unfortunately my battery blew and smoked just before i could pry it open...its important to know that you must start to "blade" the battery from the side that has the connector pins. cause the second u cut too deep your blade hits the lithium ion containment package...and poof! anyway...need to know from where i can get an original sony battery...not the 9$ one from ebay....do let me know.thanks

dude..one thing u did wrong...was pour water over it man...cause il tell ya wat..im a science student..and one thing iv learnt is that water and lithium are a wrong mix. if the water came in direct contact with the lithium inside ur battery (fortunately it did NOT in ur case) there could hav been an explosion and u cudv got chemical splatter in ur face....and yea..i went to a sony factory outlet and got me a battery...mine also got hot and all..but cooled down over time...
