Michael Gross guest-starred on an episode of SPIN CITY once when his Family Ties co-star Michael J. Fox was the star. Gross sported a beard at the time. I know because I saw it.

There were one or more times during the Family Ties run when Michael Gross shaved his beard down to a moustache and regrew it. He did a TV movie where he only had a moustache. Sometime after FT ended,Gross would shave the beard completely. He did another TV movie called VESTIGE OF HONOR with Gerald McRaney in 1990 who then starred on CBS's Major Dad and Gross was completely clean shaven. After the FT run,Gross had the beard on and off.

This is the seasons 2 and 3 opening montage. Michael Gross had grown a beard by the beginning of season 2 and kept it thru the 1989 cancellation. That's gross! LMFAO!!!!!!

Tv themes were good enough to be released on their own

shows were funny for both parents and kids to set around and watch, we used to watch sitcoms with my mother and dad, now I don't know any programs that both kids, teens and adults watch together

Even though eye wasn't born in the 80s, I love 70s and 80s shows. I just LOVE tuning into TV Land and either viewing or learning about shows like Family Ties, The Brady Bunch, The Cosby Show, Good Times, One Day At A Time, Taxi, and all that good stuff!
