My cousin Tina had a Barbie Town House. I would go over and play with her barbie for hours. I would set up parties and things for Barbie and Ken. I loved to dress her too.

This ia a sad memory for me. I got the townhouse for my 5th birthday. We lived in a small apartment and I kept in in the living room. A few months later, my dad karate-chopped it and busted it during a fight with my mom. My mom later got me the A-frame town house and barbie pink vette (after the divorce). I spent many happy years of play with that house!

I never received the Barbie Dream House (Yellow and Orange A-Frame one), but I did receive this for Christmas 1979! My Kissing Barbie promptly moved in along with the Sunshine Fun Family. I made them out to be Barbie's poor, country cousins who had been kicked out their farmhouse.

I just saw a new version of this townhouse in a Target sales flier. It's pink (bleah, we 70s girls actually had things in colors other than pink, pink, pink), and it's a little bigger with the same elevator. I LOVED our townhouse. The new one was listed as $130!
