How ever, I keep hearing that most everyone of other lands have far more knowledge of the U.S.'s state of politics and government than we do (I'm proof, I hate political science, and I don't care for government, but, if I were to take the time to do so, I am good at understanding political philosophy, but again, don't care to learn it). Obviously (as you mentioned) someone at Senate isn't paying attention to the reach of the US

@PipeFriendCHS. I have a pipe I inherited along with some other stuff. Initials on this pipe match the name of the first direct ancestor on my dads side that came from Germany to the US. I was told the pipe belonged to him and according to records a professional researcher made that dad hired years ago this ancestor came from Germany in 1700. The pipe is 1 piece clay and the stem is a straight dowe shaped. It's not for sale but was wondering if you knew a good method of research. Thanks.

I must say I have watched many of your videos and they are excellent. But after watching this video, I am now quite curious about what your stance would be on a bill that might still be circulating in the maine's congress. The bill would deny state healthcare to those that choose to do any kind of smoking, and the bill would also increase the legal smoking age in maine to twenty one, to reduce underage smoking.

According to a statistic I found, obesity has overtaken smoking as the number one cause of preventable death in the US. If that's true, you would have to deny health insurance to fat people before you deny it to smokers. Of course that's not going to happen when 1/3 of the country is overweight. Smokers on the other hand are a minority that's easy to pick on.

They want to deny healthcare to tobacco users, but not alcohol users. @FlippyRulz110 Increasing the smoking age to 21 has been talked about for years and years now, ever since underage smoking became a problem. Four states have changed the age to 19 to prevent older high school students from buying tobacco for their younger peers. It won't happen the only reason alcohol is 21 is because of the BIG D.U.I issue among kids. Changing the age to 21 won't do jack-s*** because kids can still get adults to buy alcohol for them, increase the penalties not the age.

@OSCARBERGSTROM The rate increase, if passed for pipe tobacco, would be $2/lb to $39/lb about. Basically, what that means is when we go to the smoke shop to buy a pouch of our stuff it would be $42 instead of $6.

I've gotten many of those letters in response to letters I write to my "representatives". I don't even open them - they go straight to the trash. They're standard form-letter replies - the congresspigs never even see your letters and probably never even hear about them. The only thing they care about is where the money is.
