@GetBigOrDie No date set for release yet, still working on it. If you're on Long Island come by The Fisherman Surf Seminar in the Huntington Hilton on September 16th to see some new never before seen footage.

The quality of this video and the Fishing is top notch, well done. This will be a great movie. To document what Montauk is about and the people and fishing is a great thing. I don't blame everyone for wanting to fish there. I could hit that action on a Fly-rod, what a thrill.
I live in NH and have wanted to go to Montauk to fish for years...But after reading the description and looking at the trailer, why would I go? Montauk gets too much attention on striper websites and Zeno Hromin's books have really put it in the forefront of people's minds from all over. The fact that everyone's trying to "get theirs" before the inevitable collapse is true human folly.
For the sake of the regulars out there, I hope the finished video deters people more than entices them.
Yah it looks tough for them. I don't live there, I intend to. Most of the time it isn't that bad. I have been going to MTK my whole life and never have seen it like that. you can still get quality fishing in, you just need to find out when that mass of people shows up.
I can't wait to go to Montauk!
