  • Have the bilderbergers been considered for occupation? Is Alex Jones on board?

  • We need a political party..99% For Democracy

  • @nhteaparty OWS is happening in the middle of the street. its been going on for over a month. a few isolated incidents are inevitable do to the nature of the situation. Stop trolling and start being actually critical.

  • These people are the Marxist movement from EUROPE Very scary!!!

  • google audit-of-the-federal-reserve-reveals-16-trillion-in-secret-bailouts

  • let's take our money out of banks and put it in credit unions to let big money know that we have power and they need to give us back our 700 billion plus that they've taken from us...that should be our first action NOW

  • @davemampel it's actually more like 1.4 trillion.. there was 2 big bailouts..

  • @davemampel oops! 1.4 Trillion dollars! Forgot about the second bailout!

  • What is the connection between the American Dream Movement and OWS?

  • wait. where did I read that a small group of people, about six or so, that had BEEN in both Spain and Egypt .. were the core group. I READ that and within the last few weeks, obviously ... but it had a photo, and there were names of the people! WHO WERE THEY?! Gosh I wish I had NOT just claned up my computer!!

  • Where did he come up with the 400 people figure? I would love to be able to check that out.!!!

  • good stufffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • forget the old parties, thay are bought and paid for... A 99% party would be welcomed by me.

  • Great to see the awakening of the Human Spirit after having been lulled to sleep by the souless corporations. We are not the robots they thought we were...

  • for a related article, search the web for

"A Report from the Frontlines: The Long Road to #OccupyWallStreet"

  • I don't want a democracy. I want a republic. Each man/woman has there own say and can do what they want

  • Oh were are exposing this guy. We know about adbusters and your nefarious history.

  • I guess someone has to speak out against research for advertisements through social networking but social networking makes the average person much more willing to participate in movements like this. Not only can the movement gain more citizens, but could gain ground much faster. Companies will always find a way to get their research, even if they have to pay people to go join a group or website to pose being involved... You might as well just disconnect your internet and unplug your televisions.

  • Exert control over elected officials who accept Lobbyist / corporate "bribes/campaign donations".Obama loves the Unions, & Wall street donations. The Federal Reserve has the control. I would be 1st in line for a sit-in @ the DC Federal Reserve Bank. Wall street is simply a tool Washington & politicians use to line their pockets & keep control.

  • @MSJewelryAU Though I take everything he says with a grain of salt, Alex Jones is calling fior an occupy the Fed day today at your local Fed bank branch....

  • @TheFootegirl73 for*

  • One of the first steps should be to strip the goverment of their ability to simply borrow and print trillions of dollars backed solely by the future labor of an unaware population, their children and generations to come. Politicians are like credit card junkies and their irresponsible behavior makes it imperative that we withdraw their credit card TODAY!

  • What is not mentioned here is the way in which government facilitated the housing bubble and subsequent collapse with legislation passed in 1999? It is the corrupt interaction of corporate America with government and the gross incompetence of elected officials who sell their votes that has cause the current situation. This sell out comes in many forms. It can be a sell out to corporate lobbies, or it can be the implementation of policies which make no economic sense to get reelected.

  • A Resource Based Economy is a great solution that could be a great talking point to come out of the movement.

  • @cactuskiwi RBE is an interesting concept and should be part of the discussion but like Zeitgeist 3 it is a bit futuristic to be implemented in the short run and clearly not everyone would agree to a solution like that. Hence if we are looking at more drastic solutions one would have to think in terms of a plurality of systems. This is where consensus decision making can be dangerous because while it can lead to better results than majority rule is virtually impossible to reach 100% consensus

  • @modelmotion Totally with you on all points there. But it should be our end goal, or something very close to it. The transition systems in its place will be the tough parts.

  • @modelmotion You could've had an RBE implemented 80 years ago. The technology IS there! People's understandings aren't.

And you don't need 100% of people to agree with it. 100% didn't agree with the earth revolving around the sun, or the theory of evolution. But they are valid and are the basis of modern science. An RBE will be the same..if we don't destroy civilization beforehand.

  • Only the 99 percent can speak for the 99 percent. Democracy as it is currently implemented is two wolves and a lamb deciding who they will eat for dinner. You could look at the 99 percent as a flock of lambs and I think we all know who the wolves are.

  • send them all to wall street not 500 city's send them all to wall street

  • Great new tax idea! Sure, we all need new taxes. Hey Robin Hood was the greatest wasn't he?
