Travis Lutter had Silva in trouble for a little while and he was really out of shape. If Maia takes it to the ground its over. He doesn't have to stand up with Silva he will pull guard on him lol. If I remember correctly he pulled halfguard on Nate Quarry and swept him pretty quick... If anybody is gonna beat Silva its him

How is it that we never seem to learn this ? We keep immortalizing fighters and then when they lose we dump on them.

Arlovski, Liddell, Hughes, Franklin, Faber. Now look at any one of those fighters.

All five of them lost their last fights, 4 by brutal KO !!!

Fedor and Silva are still on the pedestal right now and both guys have looked VERY beatable at times.

@Randori I agree, it's all about this aura of invincibility they build around all these wins. It lowers the confidence of a lot of their opponents, and makes them hesitate during the fight. This is MMA, and anyone can beat anyone. At the top level especially, you never know what's going to happen. Guys like Penn, Silva, and GSP seem to have a complete game, and no real weaknesses, but if a guy that excels in one aspect of the game can take it to his area, he's got a good shot at winning.

demian is the only fighter imo that can actually beat anderson right now. I'll give him a 20% chance in that fight, everybody else will continue to fall iinto the spider's web.
