  • 100 yard without scope.. dude! awesome.

  • @jonkimsr Thanks man, this pistol is easy to shoot well

  • My 22/45 likes Federal 36 grained copper plated hollows because the tapered bullet slides up the feed ramp with no hang ups. Tried Remington with all led bullet and had many failures to feed. This pistol with a target barrel is indeed very accurate. Even made a wild dog kill with my mark III @75 yards. The dog was mid sized and was hit in the neck and went down without a whimper! Great pistol and great video thanks.

  • @4774patrick Thats good shooting man, mine likes the federal ammo also, never had much luck with winchester hollow points though

  • @4774patrick Y'know, I never really payed attention that there are 'copper plated lead' .22lr bullets. I thought they were all-lead. I know they got them wax coated ones...

Looks like I need to get that Ruger .22lr soon so I can learn right!

  • Glad to hear such a positive review~I bought one of these for my husband for Christmas. We can't wait to shoot it!

  • @LbrtyNJustice4All Its hands down my favorite pistol to shoot

  • I've put 1300 rounds of Winchester 555 bulk pack through my Mark III 22/45 and had only one failure to feed. Each gun is probably a little different on what ammo it eats reliably.

  • @HeadUpKneeDown Probably so, mine definetely does not like it

  • Awesome!!!!

  • @glocknmysock Thanks man

  • 22/45

  • Nice shooting, im thinking of getting 22/45. I hear break down sucks bad.

  • @glocknmysock Thanks man, it is definetely a pain, but it will get easier the more you do it

  • WInchester .22 just won't feed in MkIII's, whether standard or 22/45. At least with the hollow points. The front is squared off too much. Federal will work every time.

  • @Loiyaboy That is exactly what I have discovered

  • i have the same gun, 125m gong at the range i can hit all day

  • @gshdrums Yes sir, they are great, extremely accurate pistols

  • @gshdrums you shouldnt unless you upgrade the recoil spring, CCI Velociters puts holes in holes, there amazing!......

  • Most of the new .22LR likes the High V Rounds or the .22LR Stinger Rounds. Stinger Rounds are very loud for a .22LR.

  • @Captb55806 Yes sir, the stingers definetely have more bark

  • @brotherskeepers111 ,22LR is not my number choice for home defence but the Stinger rounds will do the job If I need to use it.

  • @Captb55806 The wonderful thing about the little Ruger MKIII for home defense is that you can put alot of rounds very quickly on target very accurately. It's a fun gun to practice quick draw and rapid firing techniques with. However I'm surprised that they don't make more 3rd party accessories for it and such things like extended magazines. I'd feel alot better having something like a well designed 20 or 30 round clip for it.

  • @wigon You can but you have to change to buttons. They make after market mags for Rugers. The new Rugers like those Stinger rounds. What I like about the stinger rounds is that they make a loud noise that can scarry someone off. Just make one warnning shot and they run away fast. On my old Ruger Mark I had to get it remoified so the new magazines can work.

  • My Mark II 22/45 likes the Federal bulk far better then the Winchester also.

  • @jgbelmont Yea I will probably never buy the winchester again

  • @jgbelmont Yup...I had the same issues with Winchester ammo and likewise switched to Federal ammo and had no problems.

  • @Solareffects Good deal man, I know you will enjoy it

  • @Solareffects Thanks man, I highly recommend it, it is my favorite handgun to shoot out of all that i own

  • @Solareffects And you probably will not with your Glock, mine never has either. But when you shoot these 22 rimfire pistols that have extremely high tolerances and combine that with cheap bulk ammo, you will get occasional failures. If you run good ammo like cci thru it, it lessons the chances. Since I quit shooting the winchester and started shooting federal I really have not had any issues

  • that would make a nice varmint hunter.

  • @Urudrim Most definetely

  • Interesing...I first ran 100 rounds of Winchester through my Ruger Mark III and had 2 jams also. After I switched over to CCI and have ran over 1,000 rounds with no failures. Not sure if its the ammo or the breaking in period. Certainly a great firearm and a lot of fun to shoot.

  • @IronPatriotTN I intially thought it was breakin, but now I think it is the winchester. I have been running cci and federal with no problems. I think it is the weird cone shaped hollow point on the winchester, they would get stuck on the feeding ramp and get deformed. I agree about the Ruger, it is one of my favorite handguns to shoot

  • omg that was an amazing shot (s)!

  • @TheBgcheez Thanks man

  • Nice shooting. I couldn't even imagine trying to hit anything at 100 yards with a pistol, let alone a .22 LR. I've got the Ruger MKII and I love it.

  • @CptGungho Thanks man, they are great and accurate guns, and with a little practice you would knock em down too. The challenge has been 200 yards, I have been practicing alot and hope to put some vids up one day

  • dad bought one of these ruger 22's years ago, somethin was wrong with it though it was so far off u couldnt even tell were it was hitting.

  • @hedgehoghunter007 Not good man, sounds like maybe that rear sight might have some issues or something.

  • That's my next gun! Awesome to see it in the hands of someone that can really shoot it. Saw that gong shot by Brandon401401, that was impressive. I bet you'll do well at 200 too. Great vid.

  • @gunporn68 Thanks man, I appreciate it, the pistol makes me look good

  • Thanks for sharing. God Bless you and watch over you in 2011.

  • @OilTheGun Thanks brother, I appreciate it, same to you and yours

  • Nice shootin. Plinking is cheep and fun!

  • @tacticalcode Thanks brother, definetly a good time

  • Thats some dam good shoting, I like practicing with my 22s at long distances. Great vid.

  • @enok45 Thanks brother, I appreciate it, they are a fun little gun to shoot at distance.

  • good shooting mike. happy new year to all.

  • @555bolan Thanks my friend, same to you

  • @bufordcrabtree lol, I filmed this the day before the snow, so far as the accuracy, I am not sure, definetly no recoil on this one, the smaller, lighter faster bullet out of the heavy bull barrel seems to shoot pretty flat at 100 yards, but to be honest with you I have never tried my larger caliber handguns at such a distance. At work we are required to only shoot a the maximum of 25 yards for qualification

  • Was that the round I saw whizzing through the screen on your head shot? Or was that the expelled shell? Sort of flipped the wrong way for it to be the shell though. Tell me if you can see it too. Looks like a great pest-zapper/plinker.

Hope you have a great New Years, brother. You take care of yourself.

  • @sabr686 Hey brother, that was the bullet you saw coming into frame and impacting the head balloon. Yes sir I did not notice it when I was uploading, but several others pointed it out as well, and I had to take a second look.

This is definetly one accurate pistol. I appreciate you my friend, I hope you and yours have a great New Year

  • Great Vid. Nice shooting and the new camera looks great! Looking forward to your next video.

  • @cwbyfan223 Thanks brother, I appreciate it

  • @cwbyfan223 Thanks brother, I appreciate it

  • Great shooting! Now can you get that zombie killer ammo for that pistol? LOL :)

  • @Livingnthewoods41 I dont know if they make it in rimfire :)

  • wow, great shooting! I find pistol sites to be like guess work at range. well done

  • @hapelliotte Thanks man, this great little pistol shoots pretty flat a 100

  • great shooting and video as well bro !! 5* and happy new year ! :))

  • @hatsan38 Thankyou my friend, happy new year to you as well

  • Good shooting! Where was your point of aim at 100 yards?

  • @MrSteney Its shoots pretty flat at 100 so I was aiming at the top of the balloon

  • Wow,

    Nice camera, pistol, and shooting!

Looks like you had some fun, I'm looking forward to the 200 yard vid.

    Stay safe

  • Great gun!

  • @ebomey Yes sir, I highly recommend it

  • VERY cool!

  • @Scrap5000 Thankyou sir

  • Nice pistol, I just bought a Beretta M9 last Tuesday.

  • @CitizensSoldiers Thanks brother, I am sure you will enjoy your beretta as well

  • Niice shot brotherskeepers111, love that piece

  • @patatuchy Thankyou my friend

  • 100 yards! Either your one hell of a shot or thats one accurate pistol. I've never considered a 22 pistol before now. You have got me interested. Not knowing much about 22s, is that accuracy unusual for a 22 pistol?

  • @TheBeeperman I consider myself a pretty good shot but these types of pistols have exceptional accuracy. What I like about them is that they are reasonable to own and shoot on a regular basis, and it feels like a full size auto in your hand. With a little practice you could do it as well. I will have a 200 yard shot video in the future, that is where it gets a little tricky

  • Remember I asked you how it shot with different ammo. The one my buddy got had a few issues too.

  • @mtower235 Yes sir, since the first couple of magazines I have not had any problems and I have put about 500 rounds of winchester through it, but it is the only brand I have tried so far

  • nice shots!! my brother has one, their great lil guns!!

    james

  • @BOHEMIANHUNTINGCLUB Thanks James, I appreciate it, they are alot of fun

  • @GUNeRAG Right on man, you will enjoy it for sure

  • very nice!

  • @piasa1 Thanks brother

  • Very nice shooting :)

  • @Gungeek Thanks brother, I appreciate that

  • sweet shooting bro

  • @cressy7isback Thanks man

  • Nice shooting. I found mine seems to hold better groups with the lower velocity ammo. I'd also recommend copper plated ammo only but that's just my opinion.

  • @GlocknLoad1 Thanks brother, I appreciate the tip

  • Buena distancia para una pistola del calibre 22,me gusta mucho esta pistola.

  • @melinda1971mari Gracias a mi amigo, esta pistola es divertido y facil de disparar

  • Just before the head balloon bursts, you can see something dart across the frame. Not sure if you noticed, but was that the empty casing or the bullet? (near or about 2:15 - 2:16) Nice shooting.

  • @watrocket I saw it, and several others have as well, and I believe its the bullet, Thanks for watching man

  • @brotherskeepers111 I've watched it a few more times and it defiantly is the bullet, you can see it streaking across the screen right to left from about a 45 deg angle. That's impressive to see and that credit belongs to the camera. What kind is it?

  • @watrocket Its a sony handicam DCR-SX63

  • DAMN nice shooting . and the zoom of that camera was insane lol

  • @waseem1173 Thanks man, it is definetly a better camera than the one I previously used

  • awesome shooting my friend, you wont have any prob at 200. Thumbs up!!

  • @Brandon401401 Thanks man, I appreciate it, great little shooter that thing is

  • That's some fine shooting, I'm impressed! Thanks for the vid.

  • @M4CARBINE556 Thanks for watching my friend

  • Great gun I'm thinking it should feed all typs of 22lr amo unlike the baby berreta 22 that only shoots the hypervelocity amo wich a bit more pricey.

  • @SyrianKnight01 I believe it probably will, all I have shot at this point is winchester, and since the earlier two failure to feeds, it has ran flawless

  • @GUNeRAG Worth every penny man

  • That was an impressive headshot :)

And how did you hold the pistol? When I was shooting Margolin pistol I was forced by the instructor to hold it with one hand. :) It's just unbelievable that i have hit the target then :)

  • @asznam Thankyou my friend, I held it with my strong hand, supported by the weak hand. One hand would be tough, I am not sure I could do it

  • Great shootin!!!

  • Snow already gone??

  • @thfall lol, no sir, I filmed this two days before the snow

  • Good shooting! When I get a chance, I will try shooting mine at about 100 yards but I need to get some practice in first =) 200 yards will be a good challenge, and cannot wait to see that video. Thanks for posting!

  • @ArmedVegan Its definetetly a great gun to practice with, thanks for watching my friend

  • Nice shooting. You and Brandon are lucky to have open area to shoot in. Happy New Year!

  • @thenetwerx Thanks man, yea he has a great range, maybe only second to hickok45's. Happy New Year to you also sir

  • nice video

  • @frodo70444 Thanks my friend

  • Super vid brother.Ruger makes very good rimfire guns.I want one of theese too :( but here they are not allowed.Thank you for sharing;.

  • @nqkoisii Thanks for watching man, its a great little gun

  • Cool. Nice shooting. /John

  • @bearing01 Thanks brother

  • i did not the gun at 1st to be honest but the more i see it the more i like it,is the ammo any cheaper brother?

  • @manxdude1 Yea it kind of grows on you, Its not the most tactical looking gun but it makes up for it in performance. So much fun to shoot. 22 ammo is still readily available and inexpensive. Thanks for the comment my friend

  • @DeleteMeOnline Yes sir in the future will have a vid shooting at the 12 inch balloon at 200. This little gun is definetly capable

  • Always fun to catch a glimpse of the bullet with those .22's!

  • @StormForceTac Yea man, these guns are so much fun to shoot

  • You hit the 1st body shot, the .22 just bounced off the balloon ;)

  • @MrSteve65 Might be those kevlar balloons from my ak video

  • Cool, you could see the bullet in flight with the top balloon! Those Rugers are sweet. Great Vid!

  • @DocTacDad Thanks man, I appreciate it

  • CCI Stingers or other hyper-velocity ammo aren't known for accuracy. :)

  • @huntwithairguns You have a point there sir, do you know of any good target loads at a reasonable price

  • @brotherskeepers111 My Savage Mark II rifle will put those CCI Subsonic HP's into one hole at 30 yards, they're my favorite squirrel killers. But other than those I only buy bulk Winchester/Federal ammo. I've heard good things about CCI Standard Velocity though.

  • @huntwithairguns yes sir, I appreciate it. Right now the only thing I have put through it has been the winchester and there accuracy has been pretty good.

  • Congrats on 25 videos! Good shooting too. Thanks for the video

  • @MyYogiB Thankyou sir, I appreciate it, hopefully more to come

  • Congrats on 25 videos! Good shooting too. Teaks for the video

  • Thats some good shooting my friend camera looking good to.

  • @GARYMANDIEVAN Thanks brother, I appreciate it. My old camera had almost no real zoom capability, this one has an 80x zoom

  • I got myself Walter P22, now I feel like I should have gotten this gun!

  • @raazstone If you enjoy distance and target shooting, you cant beat it

  • at first i thought there was a very long delay. but then i watched again and realized there was another shot. very impressive accuracy.

  • @master5775 Yes sir, it is a great shooter. I do some shooting a 200 yards in a later vid and there is definetly a delay between the shot and it striking the target

  • Thats darn good at a hundred yards.

What camera are you using ?

  • @Tardisius I dont have it in front of me right now, but it is a sony with built in internal memory

  • nice shooting. great little pistol. thumbs up!

  • @MrColt45acp Thankyou sir, I enjoyed your LCP video by the way, I carry one everyday, Ruger makes some fine handguns indeed

  • I use the Federal Champion Target load in my Browning Buckmark and Sig 522. The round works great and is made for semis. Has a 40gr solid bullet, a bulk pack of 350 rounds (I think) is $18.99. The load # is AM22

  • @talisman9000 Thanks man, I will check them out

  • Nice! Both within three shots. Definitely impressive. Nuts to think they're based on the Japanese Nambu pistols.

Must have been a nice day for it as i can saee a fair bit of heat shimmer. All we have here is mist and drizzle for now.

  • @BoydMort Thanks brother, it was a great day to shoot, but two days later we got about 5 inches of snow that is still on the ground

  • @brotherskeepers111

    You're welcome. =]

Just as well you got the shooting in when you did then. We had about 2 feet of snow on the coast, about a foot here where i live but that's all gone now, save for a few patches here and there. The recent rain did it's work on most of it.

  • Thats a thumbs up vid!!

Head shot you can see the lead before it hits...pretty cool :)

  • @WORRO01 Thanks brother, its a great little gun

  • Dude u can totally see the bullet on the headshot. SWEET!

  • @cpac97 Yea thats cool, I will be shooting it at two hundred yards in a future vid and there is a cool delay from when the round goes off and the balloon pops, thanks for watching man

  • When uncle Sam pays me (tax returns)..... might look into getting one of them lol My problem is that I want a .22 lr pistol to look like any other higher caliber pistol. I wish I could find an upper for my Beretta 92 that is worth the money.... I hear the kits are expensive.... but I don't hear anything but good about these mark 3s.

  • @Eslamizar I hear you man, while it doesnt look it, at 33 ounces it feels like a full size auto in your hand and it is real easy to shoot, but it is a total pain in the rear to take apart

  • Extreme accuracy. Try the mini mags you'll love 'em. Great gun, good vid, thanks :)

  • @MyHollowpoint Thats what I was thinking, this gun shot some incredible groups at 25 yards with the bulk winchester ammo

  • @SONOFAHGUN Thanks brother

  • @semiautoriflelover I dont think you will have any problem, you did it with you Kimber, and I think the 22 will shoot flatter. Thanks for watching, I plan on some 200 yard shots in the future

  • are the 22/45 a new type of ammo??

    isnt the regular 22/10??

u are a realu good shooter

  • @rammsteinlover1337 No sir it shoots standard 22 long rifle rounds, the 22/45 is the model, its a 22 pistol that handles similar to the 45acp 1911's

  • @brotherskeepers111 oh i got the numbers wrong i ment 10/22 my mistake

    :)

  • BK! 100 yards bloody 'ell nice shooting, esp with winny bulk ammo! i like the new camera, one Q's where's the Snow?!! =] cheers for posting this vid i look forward to the 200 yard shot! wish you and yours a Happy and safe New Years brother stay safe.

  • @TheDishD Hey Dish, whats up man. I appreciate the compliment my friend, this is a great shooting gun that makes me look good. lol, this was actually filmed two days before the snow. Take it easy my friend have a great New Year as well my brother

  • not bad at all dude
