If I do go with live plants which I am considering I will keep them in containers as I love the bare bottom for so many reasons, mostly to avoid bacteria that can accumulate in gravel beds,I like your plant suggestions I will bring a list next time I get to go to my lps :) Thanks
I recommend taking lots of pictures before putting stuff in it. They would come out great with the bubbles

That sounds good. You can use clay pots filled with sustrate to grow your plants in.
The pots must not be too small though, if the plants feel cramped, the roots will not grow and the plants will die off quickly.
You said you like a clear bottom tank, which is fine, but you will need some form substrate in the pots.
Let me know when you do get a few plants : )

You should definalty go for the live plants.
Not only do they look good, but they are also great for the water and the fish.
You will need a substrate bed though.
Fine gravel works nicely. If you want my opinion, start with hardy easy plants.
Like Cryptocorynes, Amazon Swords, Java Ferns, Anubias and Hygrophila.
