I'm 5'9and weigh 170 lbs and for my weight that's acceptable but by Hollywoods standards I would be considered really fat. I came from Hollywood too. Reality doesn't exist there. The camera is not nice to bodies, and your predecessors are all thin. So onscreen, everybody has to be the same size, because if you're standing next to a teeny actor, you will be the fat one, not them, even if you are normal. In Hollywood, fat is all relative. Types that immediately come to mind without putting much thought into it: kindergarten/grade-school teacher, real-estate agent, cosmetician, pediatrician, news personality, entertainment news personality, lawyer, criminal psychologist.

At 5'10" you're taller than most actors and if everyone else is thin you have to be as well or else you will really stand out. If you don't want to live by Hollywood's crazy rules, go become a real actress back in Austin. But I think you are more about seeking the fame.

I came from Hollywood too. Reality doesn't exist there. The camera is not nice to bodies, and your predecessors are all thin. So onscreen, everybody has to be the same size, because if you're standing next to a teeny actor, you will be the fat one, not them, even if you are normal. In Hollywood, fat is all relative. Cheer up! A sparkling attitude is a good way to compensate for those arms ;P

I posted this elsewhere, but you are confusing being an actress with being a Hollywood actress. The latter is about fame, not acting. At 5'10" you're taller than most actors and if everyone else is thin you have to be as well or else you will really stand out. I think you may have a skewed perspective. We all do. Yes they are TOO skinny, but thats a reality based on the fact that the average leading man is 5'6" and 150 lbs soaking wet. Acresses need to be too skinny and short to make these men look like men. And then since we preconceived these women are hot.. we continue to do it when reality strikes and we see they are short rail then and thats not attractive. You are very attractive, but you may be too tall and curvy for most leading men.

Im 13 years old 5"5' and Im 110 lbs I geuss u could say Im skinny but it just comes from my moms side my mom was 5 foot 11 and was really skinny even when she was pregnant thats why i came out so small and why alot of people want me to be in modeling and acting I took dramma classes for 4 years I love being on tv and in the paper when I was born i was in the newspaper I dont know why but I geuss u could say im a natural

"Chubby" is the last thing that would have crossed my mind! Rather, I'd have to say quite pleasant and very attractive. I hope you don't end up giving in to the pressure. Losing 20lbs would NOT be a good thing, in my opinion. You're just right. Girls like that come a dime bag a dozen.
