Max Schmelling preparo aqui en Sitges su combate con Paulino Uzcudum en 1934...un periodista del periodico RENOVACION de barcelona que tenia 17 años subio al tren para entrevistarle y mientras le preguntaba Anny Ondra se cambiaba las silk stockings preguntandole a Max que le parecian y Max al jovencisimo periodista que siempre lo recordo. Max fue un heroe en Creta y se llevaba bien con Joe Louis
