statistically I would think atheists would be right. Going by the "null hypothosis" idea. We can not prove or provide any statistically significant evidence for any god or power outside the natural world, so the null-H would be there is nothing else no power, no god.

What I don't feel is right is pushing your beliefs on someone against their own will or fighting with someone about their choice of religion or lack of. Everyone is entitled to their own choice and we are all born with free will...let each person use it. If you feel it's "right" then it's "right" for YOU.

Agnostic atheism is a lack of belief, and it is vastly more common among atheists (and it's what most self-described agnostics are). Gnostic atheism, on the other hand, is what you described and it's very uncommon.

I guess you could say that. The chance of the Christian God existing is just as plausible as the thousands of other gods humanity has made up. Even so, physics and other sciences are making the god hypothesis itself look more and more ridiculous every day. There is such a small chance that God exists, that we find no reason to hold such beliefs. Depending on the kind of atheist you are, you'll either say that "I know God does not exist" or "I don't know if he exists, but I don't think so."

Uhh, yeah atheism is an active believe. Have you read it's definition? This is because it is not the lack of believe of a god, but rather the believe that there isn't one.
And also, about proving a negative, guess what? The phrase "You can't prove a negative" is a negative so, yes you can prove a negative as much as anything else, or lack thereof. Otherwise saying that phrase would thrust us into a paradox.
Please read "Crimes Against Logic" before committing more logical fallacies.

Actually, it doesn't require any belief, or jump of faith in order to know there is no god. You never have to argue logic in order to support a faith, and you never have to ignore facts to help a fixed opinion fit. Well aside from my obvious logical prove. And the fact you prove it by using the term "physical", something that God cannot be. You should read up on calculus and probability. Two things that usually can't disprove things in this finite world. However, due to Gods supernatural status, he is one of an infinite possible conceptions, and therefore the probability of him, tends towards zero, and after a wave of the calculism, thats a probability of nothing. Then why debate on the age of the earth?

In the same way that (10/3) * 3 is equal to ten.. because an infinetly negligible fraction has no value. Tends toward zero is not equal to zero, saying it is, is a leap of reasoning, and actually I can't prove that sjkdfshigsg isn't a God either, so that isn't proof either. Same thing with unicorns and yeti, no matter how much money we poured into finding them and we didn't, they could always be around the next corner. It's the nature of most religions to be un-disprovable, many people smarter than you and me came up with it.
