Watching this video again has inspired me to plan another extended backpacking trip. Haven't gone on one of those in a while. I'll make sure we bring a video camera and post the resulting video here.
Yeah, it was a good time. No bears on this particualar adventure, but I've encountered them several times on other trips.
This is the only video I have of my backpacks/hikes. All the others were documented with photos. Back then the video cameras were bigger and batteries were heavier. And in general, no one wanted to deal with the extra weight in their pack.

I was born in a National Park (Jasper). I've never been to Yosemite. Looks beautiful though.
Watching this made me home sick. I don't get to go on adventures like this nearly enough.
Looks like you and your buddies had a good time. No one was eaten by a bear, so I'd call that a successful trip!
