@schmuck3n You can get some off of amazon.com It's called cannon fuse. You get 100ft for about 20 bucks plus shipping and handling. It burns about 2 seconds every inch. Just to let you know so you don't waste a whole bunch. I hope this helps.

(WARNING) hey guys before you make this smoke bomb you need to know that once you start mixing the sugar and potassium nitrate once it starts carameliseing you will notice something that smells like shit when i did this i noticed it it smelt so bad i had to stop it. if you choose to stop it take it out of the bowl fast if you don't in about 5 minutes it will turn ROCK SOLID and you won't be able to get it off the pan or bowl(you should do this out side) (BE AWARE)

Either you use NaNO3 instead of KNO3, you don't have enough (or real) Bicarbonate(bakingsoda).

Does anyone know if the concoction continues to burn on it own after the initial ignition? Or does it only give off smoke as long as the fuse continues to burn? I'm planning on making a "ninja" smoke bomb that ignites on impact, but gives off as much smoke as this one does, or as close as possible.

@lonewulv13 Once it gets up to temperature, it burns on its own. The wick really only creates the initial heat. I imagine it would be fairly hard to get it up to temperature that quickly, but it can probably be done with the popper things (just take the rocks out CAREFULLY and put them on the surface of the mixture).

No promises that that will work, though. If not, you have to find a way to get a hotter reaction as the primer.
