we were there in 2008 june 1rst untill june 6th it was great the maid came every day we tiped her $2 every day are room stayed spotless,we tipped the boy who put drinks in frig,and he left extra beer for us,food was great,showes were great loved the disco bar,but the weather was hot hot hot.we stayed in room 106 10 ft" from the pool,swim up bar was great we could drink all day and never got drunk we sweated it out as fast as we DRANK .

Just came back... Was freaking HOT hot hot.. 40 C all the time... A lot of seaweeds though... Service wasnt the best, maid didnt do our room for 2 days... Tips dont matter, they will treat you the same... but other than that, loved it..... Cheers

Afer 21 years, I'm going back in 2010 to the Majestic or Barcelo with the wife for 10 long days.

Can't wait to step on that white sand once again! and cry like a baby! I love U Quisqueya, La Bella.

Quisqueya is the name that the TAINOS gave to the Island centuries ago..

I was there this past week and the service was horrible. The beach is super nice and the resort was nice but no service what so ever. It seems like they took all the good employees and send them to the Majestic Elegance that just opened. Anyways...I will never go back there.
