For me the best episodes of this show are the ones featuring Darla. As others have said, she had more depth than Buffy. Waaaaaaaaaaaay more depth than Cordelia.

I loved Darla i even liked her when she was in Buffy ( for the 5 episodes ) but when wolfram and heart brought her back i was like YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! but then she was dying how sad :( but when dru and her did the hah killing people thing i was like angel is going to kill her but she is the true champion she let no one stand in her way she was the person most girls would die to me ( even though they would have to die) but still its amazing how this song matches her so much it describles her thanks

I just watched this episode.......Gahhhh, it's so sad! I disliked Darla (in the traditional hateful-villain way) in the Buffy episodes and when she turned evil again via Drusilla, but she started changing a lot after she became pregnant and I started feeling really compassionate for her, even though she remained without a soul. And when she realized that the baby inside was giving her a soul in a way, she became....more human. I loved that. And it was so sad when she killed herself =( =(

Buffy was really good up to season 3 but when angel left the show got boring 4 me. ps angel was better than season 4-7 of buffy

@Voldemort53 Buffy season 4 was the worst season of Buffy hands down. I honestly think that all the seasons of Angel were much better than Buffy. Don't get me wrong, I love Buffy, but Angel was a lot deeper and just done better.

I think season 4 wasn't really done well as a season, but there were specific episodes in it that were really good, like Hush. I also think that the last episode of that season (Restless) was one of the coolest episodes ever.

I agree with that. Buffy was never the same after Angel's departure and I think the writers realised that, because they went about turning Spike into 'Angel Mark 2' to fill the void.

I know, Buffy gets to good all the time, or she just gets a bitch. Dont get me wrong I love Buffy, but sometimes she gets even worse than cordy was. Miss cordy as well:P Riley was boring and so NOT hot.

Darla was beautiful, she had the balls to do what she thought was right, no matter what anyone else thought of it..

Tragic story, all in all, but stilll ... she just had more depth than Buffy.. like Angel as so much hotter when he was being Angelus.

Guess we just like the beast within better than the comparatively predictable goodie two shoes.

I mean, that's what made Riley such a bore, no darkness at all.. and it takes a little shadow just to avoid being perceived as shallow..

Well, didn't Riley have some sort of addiction to having vampires bite him? I think his character was getting pretty dark before he left...but I agree, he was boring.

I hated that they killed Darla. She was maybe evil, but if she just got a little bit of soul she become such an meaning ful woman. She loved angel, she really did and it hurted her more than anything that he didn't love her. Personally I like Dangel better than bangel, even they are sweet togheter. But Darla and Angel was better togheter.

I love the character, too and was so glad that more of Darla was told during ANGEL. However I appreciate, that her story has come to an sensible conclusion - unlike the overuse of Spike during season 7 of BUFFY and 5 of ANGEL.
