if you dont lock your arms it doesn't count as a pull up in my opinion. You'll get a lot stronger a lot quicker if you put that extra bit of effort in and go all the way down. If you don't you're not working you're back muscles hard enough.
@ADecentDescent1 I used to be a lot bulkier before so I just cut back weight and became alittle bit more ripped now. I think that you can easily accomplish this in less than 6 mpnths if you work hard.

with your technnique you are protecting the shoulders from injury. But I think you can go down a little bit more. good video!
