Once you've owned a White's Tree Frog, this video becomes more awesome! My Dumpy is about 4 1/2" long and eats the largest crickets I can get at Petsmart. I would like to try feeding him more things like waxworms but I can't get feeder mice anywhere within 50 miles. That froggy is awesome!

That frog was 14 years old and was not a pet! It just lived at the house!
The kids were young back then and obviously didn't realise that feeding the frog a hopper house wasnt doing it ay good!
It eventually died after being bitten by a snake and surcoming to a fungal disease.
It's in the past now and those kids are Alot older and now know that that a large mouse isn't a very good meal for an old frog!

thats just stupid. i know its natural for a frog to eat watever it wants, however its unnatural that your frog will find live food so easily, and in nature the mouse has a chance to run away and survive :/. hence i agree you're a douche and this IS animal abuse and live food for pets shouldnt in my opinion be legal :/

This frog wasnt a pet, it came and went as it pleased.
It was over 7 years old and the reason it died was due to a snake bite.
It was a wild frog and used to feed itself, it was just on a rare occasion that we fed it a mouse, a small one at that.
This was also filmed three years ago...

That mouse is so big. I heard you aren't suppose to feed them prey bigger than the width between the frogs eyes. Did he finish the whole mouse? I would be scared that the bigger mice would bite the frog.

Once you've owned a White's Tree Frog, this video becomes more awesome! My Dumpy is about 4 1/2" long and eats the largest crickets I can get at Petsmart. I would like to try feeding him more things like waxworms but I can't get feeder mice anywhere within 50 miles. That froggy is awesome!

Go into the wild, this is merely assisted and plus, even tho this species could be fed dead food, it is semi better to head live food. i would agree that the harassment of the mouse in itself would be out of order since its already being crushed. Keep it between the mouse and the frog my friends.
