  • I loved that P and O advert! The music on it was great and to see the colurs of their logo used in different ways was great especially the bouncing beach ball and the sun shade on a building!

  • The old Midland Bank advert that promoted its bank account called Orchard is more or less similar to the one where Barclays Bank launched its Openplan account in 2002. Also, I remember the Peugeot advert very well that featured the song 'The Look Of Love' by ABC. Who was the lead singer of this 1980s group?

    That Peugeot 309 ad has a fake version of "The Look of Love", but they eventually changed it to the proper ABC song.

  • Indeed the visuals *do* look older, but the soundtrack is very 1989 - which suggests that they may have taken some footage from an older ad and revised it.

    An ad for Clacton pier, an ad for Hereward Radio of you know where *and* a 1970s PIF revival. It could only be Anglia ...
