Dam ur car stood hot while hitting 117, mine wouldve dropped to 1/4 near cold, thats pretty hot for going that fast and getting that much air...plus ur Batterys on full blast deeeom.....
@Forgoten214........I never owned a P71 but I know they are rock solid 03 & up.
We also have a 07 Mercury Grand Marquise & that car is perfect 90k miles not 1 problem. Let alone a P71. The Caprice 9c1 is a faster car & very well built. But if you want a problem free every day car with ICE cold a/c go with the Crown Vic P71. At least a 03. But if it's older then a 03 go with the 9c1 Caprice.
That's true but the thing is police tend to beat on their cars it's just their line of work. I'm not exactly sure spending alot of money on a ex cop car would be worth it unless if the price was right.
If I had my choice maybe I'd go with the Grand Marquis, I really like the new ones that come with the well awaited tachometer. =)
But the Crown Vic and Grand Marquis are well under powered compared to GM's line of vehicles in this price range especially 9c1. Cant have it all Iguess
