the national guard had never fought oversees - reservists used to serve a weekend a month and did it for the extra income with the understanding that they would be called up for a REAL defense emergency - it worked out great for them for years - now that bush has started this pointless war recruiting has been way down

you know what's really interesting to me; Bush claims that God himself told him to invade Iraq and kill Saddaam. If any other president justified a war in that way, he would be called a schizophrenic and locked away in a mental hospital. But Bush gets reelected.
